Apparently Dell are the only "manufacturer" of PCs.

And apparently two guys in a coffee shop are the only consumers of Apple products.

Ok, mods, I think you can close this thread now after such a crushing display of debating prowess.

No need to close this thread :). I am just voicing my opinion on the mac operating system.

I think windows is better because it can run more applications (mac is lacking in games especially) and you have a bit of choice since you can choose what hardware manufacture you want to go with or even build the pc yourself.

Have you used the latest version of Mac and Windows for your everyday use?

Could you please explain the reasoning behind your statement?

Yeah - that's a strange one alright. I've got W7 64x and Mac OSx operating on a quad-core 27" iMac. The Windows side is, as usual, farting and spitting. The 'crippled operating system" is as slick and fast as when I got it 12 months ago.

That's not the fault of the OS developers though, it's the fault of the program developers and for not coding it for cross-platform use. Mainly because the majority of the market use windows, hence why most applications are windows native.

It's a bit like flanders left-handers shop in the simpsons - catering for the minority isn't exactly a priority for anyone looking to make money.

So it's entirely unfair and wrong to call OS X crippled because of developers being lazy.
