Hope he succeeds but my Panther friend doesn't like the pick.

Well the bengals seem to have made their mind up about Carson. They are planning without him.

Cardinals really have to go Gabbert right? Peterson cannot be high enough up on their needs board

Well I suppose they had a need there. I'd guess they were looking to trade out of there though. He is another slam dunk though so its a good pick.

Good pick by Cards, best player available at this stage is always smart.

Compete in the NFC West ? That's not a hard job.

I think skipping Gabbert means Arizona will try get a veteran QB in free agency, i think they'll make a play for Kolb

    Trade :D

so Cards are looking at early 2nd round QB

    Trade :D

Sounds like they gave up one hell of a price to get up to 6

That's a great deal for the Browns if they get what Mayock said!

does anyone else think that a switch of 1st rounds, 2nd, 3rd this year and 1st and 4th next year is a bit much for Julio Jones?

Atlanta to move up for Julio Jones is the word.
    Well picked up on

Atlanta are going to have serious weopons now. Gonzalez wants his SB ring.

    Great business by Cleveland

This is a major shock for me. Firstly the Falcons have Roddy White, they don't need a no.1. And the Browns need a WR, I mean wtf is Holmgren at?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,017 ✭✭✭Leslie91

Julio looks like 'Predator'. He owes Mr Blank bigtime now.

So expensive, browns had to accept

Wow thats some deal, I can understand why Holmgren went for that. A first rounder this year and next, a 2nd and 4th this year and another 4th next year. Craaaaaaaaaazy!

Holmgren has robbed Atlanta blind. Remember they have the power to move up from 27 if need be.

Great move by Browns/Holgren, it will take a lot more then a WR to turn the browns into a wiining franchise

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,654 ✭✭✭kev_s88

gonna take a guess that Holmgren couldnt give a **** about the immediate future of the Browns, maybe planning a year or 2 of early picks. the trade gets them a lot next season, especially if they mess up next year and hit an early 1st rounder then too

    Ridic trade. Falcons are mental!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,017 ✭✭✭Leslie91

Gabbert to SF?. Alex Smith to SD as backup to Rivers.

The Browns are at least a year away from competing, for the picks got in return that trade was a no-brainer. Take Baldwin/Young/Cobb with a later pick.

Falcons gave up a huge amount for Jones, not sure if it's worth it though

    Gabbert to the 49ers next?
