    Incest is normal in many parts of the world. Marriages between cousins happen very frequently in the middle east.

    No it's disgusting but banning incest between consenting adults could be seen as a form of eugenics according to the supporters.

    No reasonable person can decide to use force to stop consenting adults from having a relationship.

    - The fact that it disgusts you is irrelevant.
    - The fact that their children are slightly more inclined towards genetic defects is irrelevant. We don't stop diabetics from having children, for example, or people with any number of inheritable diseases.
    - It would not happen on a large enough scale to have any impact on society.
