Ok peeps, what's the most shameful degrading thing you've done for money or a favour/gift etc? It needn't be sexual but it should be something you've done that you wouldn't admit to anyone you knew.

I was once a "floor whore" one summer on a lovely Greek Island with my friend. We had to look hot, talk to men and stroll up and down the beach wearing a string top from the nightclub in an attempt to draw in punters. In return we got very little drachma but free drink all night, which thinking about it, wasn't a good idea for 19 year old Irish girls.

We just drank what we could and ended up kissing the first boys we got talking to and then got fired! Degrading to say the least!

In fairness, it depends on the club. If it's just dancing and the old lap dancing, I don't see why it's so degrading. The girls get their boobs out and the guys throw money; I think it says more about the fellas then the ladies.

Years ago I helped a friend on a stall in Blackrock market and the owner of the market asked me would I do a few hours during the week for him. I thought happy days maybe some admin work etc.

When I arrived he handed me a hammer and brought me to an old garage-esque building and asked me to take up a load of rusty/broken nails out of the floor for the day. The place was massive and I got cut more than once! It was frickin horrendous, pretty sure he gave me f*ck all for the day too.

The backstard was loaded, kinda explains it when you get a teenage girl in to do building work instead of hiring builders!

Debt collection in a call centre for a summer in college. Ringing people at all hours to threaten politely request money from them to pay back their credit card. Every minute destroyed part of my soul. When you start fantasizing the bus on the way to work crashing, you know you're on to something not so good.

I lasted 3 weeks.
