I added all of them on facebook a couple of years ago and started a group.
There must be a bunch more so I should go on another recruitment run.

I don't know any personally but I know from facebook there are aobut 40 of us - one of them is a friend of one of my friends which is weird. I must ask her about it.

Because I have an Irish first name people in NZ think it's the most unusal name ever. A girl at work tried to find me on Facebook without my email address and couldn't believe that there were so many of us - I did tell them it's a common name in Ireland!

    Yup :D

She used to be my penpal when we were young. Found her in the RTE Guide penpal page and had to write her cause she had my name! And she was only a few weeks younger than me!

Wonder what happened to her. *Searches thread for girl with same story*

Oh and I also just remembered my mother has the same name as me too :P

There are about 10 girls with the same name as me in my town  It gets complicated when one of them steals someone elses man or some other stupid thing and then I'm accused of it. I was on Facebook the other night and there was 7 of us online. Even I was confused!! :D

No strangely enough, because it certainly sounds like the most common name in Ireland!

No. When did the facebook thing I was the only one but on google there was one....a criminal in Florida...oops.

I did once add a girl on facebook whom I thought was my cousins daughter in america and she accepted, turned out that she wasnt my cousin but had thought that I was her sister, who shares my name, and that she had finally decided to get a FB profile. Confusing!

Have met people with my first name and my second name but not at the same time.

Was on the bus from Dublin years ago reading FHM and this fella got on and sat beside me. When i was finished the mag i gave it to him to read and realised he was deaf. He took it and we started chatting (by writing with our phones) and to my shock i discovered he had the exact same name as me
We ended up showing each other ID just to prove it!
He didn't look like me or anything but he was a sound lad

Never met anyone with the same name as me but was in Ridleys nightclub in Dundalk recently and met 5 different girls with the same name. All 5 told me their name was "f**k away off ya freak".
    How weird was that?

ahhh penpals, thems were the days, good old St. Martin magazine.

Actually come to think of it, I did once pick one that had the same first name as me, that's pretty lame. My best friend in school had the same first name as me too. Gotta start thinking out of the box
