Looking for a Xboxer or two for some zed bashing (not the boardsie).
If you have the classic maps and DLC that is even better as I have all maps so far.

Played Verrukt there today on solo. Only got to round 13 due to unfamiliarity of the map. I really want to give Shino Numa a decent attempt though.

Making some good progress in Ascension both by myself and with other guys. Got up to level 28 there on saturday. We were up the steps where the magic box is, myself and another guy had a thunder gun. 3 ray guns (incl myself) and then the machine guns and we all went to the pack a punch machine for upgrades and we got the PHD flopper aswell.

Generally the machine gunners would take the main steps one guy would take the steps to the right and one would take the window to the left. If things went pear shaped we'd fall back to the lander.

Generally one of the thunder guns was at the front and the looking after the window. Things went well but we pretty much ran out of ammo.

ive gotten to level 41 on kino der toten but cant get past 25 on the ascension map. its awesome. Huge map with no loops to run and the zombies seem to get you really quickly. i'm lovin the new map!!!!!!!!!! And the monkeys are Little F*^ck%rs... They Rob your perks so u cant just run away and try to find a nice place to relax and kill them. Lovin the new challenge. Kino der toten is cool put its a pain in the arse after a while. just 4 hrs running in circles.

I think its easier, I've gotten higher in Ascension than any other map. Even by myself i'm regularly 15+

My head is done in by gob****es who won't let you take your turn on the magic box. Don't they get it that if one guy is stuck with a handgun or no bullets its bad for EVERYONE!!!!!

snap! so annoying..

on that note man has the mystery box been cruel to me lately last turn i got the pistol,cross bow and china lake,cross bow again and china lake AGAIN! cant even remember the last time i got the ray gun. in any case im enjoying it, usually geeting high teens to low 20s, highest is 27 tried doing the mystery man easter egg the other day but of course the gersch device was nowhere to be found haha.

Has anyone heard or seen anything about how getting the death machines at the end means you fail the easter egg? the video on the page previous seems to be deleated or something.

Ditto!!!!! Man the box is making me its bitch lately (.....hmmmm.....no dirty jokes people...:D)
Last game I got the friggi ballistic knife, then a pistol, then some piddling assault rifle. I also get lots of sniper rifles - to the point where I can actually use them now! Cannot remember last time I got ray gun, thunder gun, gersch device or the dolls. I consider myself blessed if I have an LMG these days!!!!!

got up too 43 with a friend, i find one player has to have the thunder gun and that 100 or 125. the other has to have ray gun and a 125 and both to have the monkeys thats ideal but with fire sales if you have a good r***(term we just used) of the box like for instance leaving one zombie at the end of the level.

Mystery box has been poor enough for me as late, id say 75% of the time im getting the dragunov. Played last night and got 2 machine guns so was happy enough but was playing with idiots who kept getting downed by the 10th round so ended up pretty much playing by myself.

I'm aiming to get past Round 40 on Kino Der Toten on solo.

I know you may think it's pathetic, but I used only get to Round 5 on solo. Last night, I managed to get to Round 8. I know it's nothing for you guys, but I was happy as I'm making progress.

I think I figured out a good strategy last night, but I've yet to try it yet. I'm confident I'll make Round 40, I've made bets with all my friends.

They think I'm ****, so I can't wait to prove them wrong! :pac:

As a 40+ member myself

all I can say is, monkeys, ray gun, thunder gun, loads of points and laps around the stage and you're sorted

In addition to what HD says, heres a tactic to get away with using hardly any ammo. At the start of the round do laps of the stage and gather a good shot before going into the teleporter and waiting til the last second cos that teleporter has the potential to take out a load whereas the grenades you fire at them are like firing pebbles of piss in the later rounds. When you go back down go the usual route up the right hand side of the stairs but slowly, dont sprint and gather a load while moving forward back to the stage and shoot anything thats in front only before using the trap just before the stage. Laps of stage again, turn on teleporter and use trap between theater and lobby if necessary, do the ring again, teleporter again, traps again...be prepared to give up 5/6 hrs of your life if youre going for 40 plus.

I've only ever got to 39 and then lost connection to host....it gets boring and playing alone isn't as enjoyable i find. Love getting a team full of mics and sound people, usually get english or french.

Round 5, are you buying Quick revive?
Once you manage to get to the stage it gets easier, and you get Jugg.

Going to round 25 having used no revives and keeping my first one and ended up getting splattered by the lander i called in and then killed while waiting for the lander to refuel

I got to Round 28 on Solo yesterday on Kino Der Toten. That's the furthest I've gotten. My previous best was Round 13 but I've figured out a decent strategy now.

I was very pissed off when I died. I forgot to buy Juggernog again after I used my final Quick Revive. :mad:

Honestly i really cant take playing with idiots anymore. Playing last night with 3 guys, myself and another guy had the ray gun and one of the machine guns each, the other guy had famas/commando and the thundergun. Myself and the guy with the ray gun would create some crawlers so we could go take a trip to the pack a punch machine and the idiot kept killing them

Played a bit of Zombies there, and there was one guy getting downed a lot. After the 7th time he actually says "btw, I'm only doing this so we get more points". I was kinda baffled as to how he thinks it helps.

What is it with ascension being filled with bollixes? Maybe im just unlucky but it really puts me off playing it with all the hosts ending games, people who dont even try reviving you or just annoying teens on their mics. I've only had the map pack for a couple of weeks now but have only finished about a dozen games. Hate the abundance of players more concerned with their own kills than how the team does. Actually wish their was more points going for reviving people, even if it was only applied from round 10 on and couldnt be done with only a few zombies left to prevent exploiting it..
