It's not black, it's a kind of flat green.

Saw a silver Porsche 928 with ZV plates on the N11 at Stillorgan yesterday.

Not enough time for a pic though he didn't even notice the lowly 924 driver with wide eyes checking the car out. :pac:

Seen that a good few times now. I think it lives out around Dun Laoghaire.

love the Corsair...hate the number plates though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,191 ✭✭✭_Conrad_

corsairs are lovely indeed... but why do people so badly feel the need to have a yellow rear plate? this isn't the UK.... normally it's idiot boy racers who have it on "done up" cars thinking it's somehow cool.

    Where's the up-close pics of the Mk2 Escort? :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,318 ✭✭✭✭carchaeologist

That Corsair has been around since about 1988 with that plate on as long as I can remember it. I hadn't seen the car in a good few years until yesterday. It's quote rare to see one nowadays, particularly a 2000E like that one.

By the looks of it, the plate may have been originally red but it has faded over the years.

On another note, yellow plates seem to be popular up in Donegal.
