    I have to say as a fellow nordie i have seen my fair share of anti-northerner sentiment across the entire site and quite frankly its getting old.

    as for the accent thing, i guess you dont listen to a real dublin accent that much then, possibly the worst assault on my ears

    i agree the dublin accent is murder on the ears.

    can anyone tell me what AFAIK means - ive seen it on here loads and haven't a clue.

    oh no, of course not - didn't mean that at all - just their accent is awful but the people are same as you get everywhere else. Good and bad everywhere.

    There's an anti everything thing going on in AH, depends on the group of posters.

    There's an odd few that probably hate the place, personally I hate the tit for tat cesspit it turned into in the mid to late 80's.

    There's a group who hate Republicans.

    There's Republicans who hate "West Brits, war veterans and Blueshirts".

    And then there is KeithAFC.

    And you are they guy who is complaining about people generalising about people who are from the north. Give it a rest now. What you said was most likely in jest, the same as most people who say something not so nice about NI.

    And for the record this is coming from some-one who got stabbed almost a year ago by some-one who happened to be from limerick so if any-one is gonna be bringing Limerick up on its "Stab city" title it should be me but the fact remains that most of Limerick is nice and pleasant. Few not so nice places but they are everywhere, even in the North e.g falls road...Shankill road....
