A drunken man in London mistook me for Uma Thurman when I lived there. He asked me for my autograph so I scrawled "LOVE YOU LONG TIME. LOVE...UMA THURMAN" in big capital letters for him in the back of a napkin. He was delighted.

Was that because his name was Colin Farrell?

There's a festival in the town I'm from every year and the Corona's were playing at it. We were in the pub and some really drunk girls decided all my friends were the lads from the Corona's. We all got in pictures with them for the craic (I think they thought I was a groupie). Then they ran around telling everyone that we were the Corona's and they all believed them simce most of them had never seen what they look like before.

My friends used to tell me I looked like Shane Byrne, hair included. Having looked at his picture, I am not amused

Was mistaken for Paddy Casey a few times. The best one being at a party a while back when I decided to play along, only knew two or three people there so was handy enough until... a little while later someone produces a guitar and I'm expected to play.
Challenge accepted as they say, I proceeded to play a passable (this was a messy party now, I'm no great shakes on the guitar) version of Living in your Town. Somehow pulled that off and I reckon Paddy got a few new fans out of it too!

I was once told that I look like "yer man from that tv program" by a drunk guy with his friends. His friends hadn't a clue who he was on about.

I still don't know who.

    Does that count?

I got mistaken for Chris Barrie (Rimmer from Red Dwarf) once, but I've been mistaken as one of the guitarists from DragonForce twice. Which is mental, I don't look anything like him.
