Pity we didn't get kuyt kissing the camera to compare to vidic kissing the premiership trophy again this year. Not nice to lose against liverpool but as meatloaf once said "2 outta 3 ain't bad"

Shockin performance from United. Really missed Vidic and dare i say it Ferdinand.
Totally deserved by Pool but did gift them 2nd goal so may have got something out of game if we hadnt been 2 down at the half.

Oh Well, UNITED ARE STILL TOP AND WILL BE IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEXT YEAR.

Why did we re-sign Carrick? He must be 1 of the worst midfielders in EPL.

Nice easy victory for us there. Will leave this thread now before it descends into a lemon sucking fest.

Suarez just shows what can be done if you give a f**k. Enjoy the plastic flags Torres, you wont be missed.

Is Nani the only player in football who could be on the end of a leg breaker like that and still come off as the bad guy? I want to support the team but it's hard when we have such an almighty twat in our team.

yep seems like trafford is a magnet for those type of a ss holes - cantona, ronaldo, nani, rooney

    my guess is:

Pool player should have been sent off?
    Offside goals?
    Ref not seeing peno desicions?
Because Carragher tried to break Nani's leg

Same way as always it seems.

Who will United blame for this loss, the ref? Lines man? Carragher?

Really happy with the win But also the performance. We deserved to win that game. Suarez will get the man of the match - Kuyt scored a hat trick against Utd and won't - it's a funny old game!!!!!

Well done Liverpool, miles ahead of United today, all over the pitch. To be honest, Chico's goal flatters us a bit.

There's 2 defining games we've been outplayed and deservedly beaten, we may well limp over the line and win this league but it will only be because everyone else has been so bad. God I hope Fergie sorts out that midfield in summer because it's not good enough for a Europa league spot

Well as a United fan, we've no complaints.

Truly shocking performance from a team supposed to be favorites for the Premier League.

Rooney looking less and less useful as the season goes on.

Scholes/Giggs are starting to look their age now this far into the season, been a couple of games in a row where Giggsy has just been way off the pace.

Carrick is just a massive liability and looks like he won a competition to play or something. His performance today I'd expect from a youth player but at least with a youth player I'd say that he'd improve.

Berbatov did fine I thought, he held the ball up as best he could but there was nothing coming in for him.

Smalling did fine today I thought, he was done for the first goal but when you have Rafael on one side of you and an uninterested looking Wes Brown on the other side of you, your work is cut out for you.

Our bench was atrocious today. As soon as Chicharito came on, the bench looked like a league cup bench, there was nothing else on the bench and the blame for that falls squarely at Fergies feet. He knew he was without Park and Valencia in January and didn't act.

I thought Liverpool did a great job at doing what was necessary. Kuyt did very well to get into those positions, I'm hating Sky pulling the "have you scored a simpler hat-trick" shíte, it actually takes foresight and skill to get into positions to score those goals, so fair play to him. Suarez looked good. Carroll looks like a decent bit of business. Way overpriced, but not a bad signing, I think he'll fit in well.

    Well done Liverpool, well deserved.

Gotta say I really do like Javier Hernandez, the more I see of him the more impressed I am. He could be one of Ferguson's greatest bargains even at £6 million or whatever he cost because it looks very cheap already.

Amen to that, one of the most solid signings of the season. At this stage I'd say that, if Wayne Rooney were Spanish, he wouldn't be starting for Utd.

A really cracking team performance from the 'pool. Interesting to see that they're putting a few longer balls Carroll's way. Could be effective with Suarez and Kuyt buzzing around him, but I hope it doesn't make them too one-dimensional - because they're a delight for neutrals to watch atm.

Why was Fletcher only brought on so late in the game game? Not that I really care. The only disappointing aspect of todays game was Suarez didn't get a goal for his efforts. What a player he is!

    Rooney played today?

Every United fan here agree's Liverpool were the better team.

The only contentious decision from a United perspective was Carraghers tackle but even if he had have got the line,I really dont think it would have made any difference.

    We were rubbish,pure and simple.

    Play another record ffs.

United lost 3 out of the last 5 games.

Before that they went 29 unbeaten.

    Not good.

Dreadful, dreadful midfield!!! How Fergie hasn't noticed that Carrick does not get the job done is beyond me! Why on earth does he continue to get his game?

Ferdinand and Vidic were sorely missed (although Smalling has been developing into a good centre half) and unfortunately Nani isn't as reliable a defender! Carragher no doubt should have gone, but Nani's dramatics are horrible to watch.

Suarez was quality, he's looked the part since he arrived and definitely helped his rep with a performance like that today.

Hernandez is a great little purchase, he's scored some important goals, unfortunately todays was a mere consolation. Rooney still performing rubbish and half-assed. Amazing split second against Man City doesn't wholly make up for the number of poor performances he's put in this season.
