    God love that child. The mum looks like Anne Widicum's love child, and the dad looks like a cross between Stephen Gerrard and funnily enough an Angel Fish.

    As for the grand parents, feckin hell. The dads mother is hideous! She looks like a man. And an ugly man at that. The mum's parents look like they have eaten too many turkey twizzlers.

    I didnt utter a single word about the childs future. All I said was god love him and that he had a very ugly family unit.

    I think she looks sweet. Him, not so much, but she looks very pretty for a wee girl that's just given birth. I like that she's unsure of their relationship status while he thinks they're 'still an item'. He's so dumped.

    They seem to be. The kid's living with the mum and her parents, not alone in a flat somewhere with a 14 year old parent, so taking the child away from a stable home into care makes no sense.

    This is why we need better sex education in schools. Or like any sex ed at all. :rolleyes: I learned everything from magazines, absolutely nothing from school - I remember our home ec teacher skipped the chapter on reproduction telling us to 'read it in our own time'. The girls were talked to about periods and that was it.

    13 year olds having unprotected sex because the young boy didn't like wearing a condom.
    I don't know what sex education is like in Britain, but in Ireland the prevailing puritan attitude towards sex needs to be overcome. Teenagers will have sex, no matter what. It's important to educate them so at least they can make an informed decision in this regard, being aware of all of the relevant risks. No wonder STD's are increasing all of the time. :mad:

    The actual teenagers in the article are 14; they had sex at 13.
    The 12 and 11 year olds are the current record holders apparently.

    I think its pretty disgusting that the parents of the child-mother appear to look delighted with their daughters unnaturally young procreation. Seriously its like they're actually proud. That sums it all up really.

    I think its fcuking creepy.

    Screw a sterilisation programme (no pun, etc), you'd basically need an Einsatzgruppen approach to even begin to tackle the breeding problem of the underclasses in the UK and Ireland (yes, Godwins law and all).
