just when the greens and their civil rights policies looked to be gone now it seems in it may seep back in with Labour,We need a party that's 100% concentrated on the economy and job creation.

There will be no job creation, that's spoof and waffle

We are still waiting on those jobs from Lisbon Referendum

All right-wing led governments, and more of the same to come, what's wrong with a centre-left government :(, nothing has changed
This is the beginning of the end for the two old parties. Fine Gael are going to be so unpopular by the time of the next general election that the left can make serious gains if they pull the finger out and start being realistic. The old people have got to go.

change is not on the way as conservative voters swing from ff to fg and the bailout goes on. labour have capitalised on ff votes by swinging in to the centre resisting the lure of the left for the centre votes.the united left alliance offering labour another choice has failed to materialise. workers defenders will be in opposition in the next dail. plus ca change.

At least Sinn Féin won't bend over and take it up the jacksie from IMF/EU/Developers/Bankers/Builders

We are heading for Default, and FG will feel the wrath of the public when that happens

MEP Joe Higgins said it was a certainty that the Socialist Party/United Left Alliance would take a seat in Dublin West.

He said it was the beginning of a new significant movement on the Left.

That is a good thing anyway. We don't necessarily need a left wing government, but one that is centre based rather than right wing. It will be good for them to have the experience of being in government.

As opposed to FF/FG/Labour's, sure we'll try to pay it back but we can't afford to really, approach

Sinn Fein's economic polices are laughable. We would be bankrupt in 12 months. They literally haven't a clue. Practically every economist has said this. They want to tear up the IMF agreement. It's even worse than voting for Fianna Fail IMO.

Where as every TV economist has spoken of the economic non-sense of the FF/FG plan. Better to be half right than 100% wrong IMO.
