Just discovered Vivienne Holloway dresses thanks to Dolorous post in the purchases thread. They are gorgeous! Does anyone have experience ordering from them in terms of delivery and fit?
My debs dress was from there
The delivery time is pretty fast, but the sizing tends to be pretty small, or at least, it certainly was four / five years ago.
In my experience, the sizing was roughly two sizes smaller than regular sizing. IE. a 12 fits like an 8.
That might have changed, however.0 -

the only full length mirror in the house is in my room, and whenever they were going out with a girl they'd slope into my room, look in the mirror and go "does this look gay?"
I'd say no then they'd ask to borrow my straightener!

Yep their sizes are not the same as high street, closer to 1950s sizing afaik. That's why when you order they ask for your measurements and not your dress size. You need to get a tape measure if you don't have one, trying to guess by your normal size won't work!0 -
