I would never vote for sinn fein as long as i live.
They will always be a bunch of murderers as far as im concerned.
People seem to have very short memories

Still nobody can explain how Sinn Fein are going to get the €15,000,000,000 needed to pay our social welfare, pensions, the health service and all the public servants.

Do you really know what you are voting for guys?

So ignoring the pointless posts from both sides Wolfe Tone. How will your wages be paid when Gerry closes the banks?

The blueshirts, in their short history, had never killed one man.

As someone who votes Sinn Féin in local elections, I feel that their absolutely inexcusable, murderous behaviour in relation to Northern Ireland should not be dismissed.

Epic post. The Blueshirts were wound up in 1933 I believe.

Perhaps we should vote for Fianna Fail because Fionn McCumhaill was such a great leader of men?

I notice you are not addressing the question of the missing €15,000,000,000? (and no, I'm not talking about one of SF/IRA's bank jobs)

It would be interesting to compare the number of Irish people killed by SF/IRA and the Blueshirts. Probably not a road you should really lead us down. Wolfe Tone :)

I didnt intend to go down that road as you well know, its a fact that no party has a clean past

It might be more relevant to ask how many "blueshirts" currently seeking election to the Dail do not give their unconditional support, implicitly and explicitly, to the guardians of this state.

€15,000,000,000 you say? Sounds like Gerry is so used to getting £15,000,000,000 a year from Britain, that he hasn't needed to think where he'll get it from if he were running Ireland.

The missing 15 billion, hmm was wondering about that myself, perhaps we could ask Bertie, Lowry, Drumm and Lenihan. Sounds like a law firm, "Bertie, Lowry, Drumm and Lenihan" financial advisers ltd, he he!!.

Extraordinary for 20 pages we ask potiential SF voters straight simple questions on economics phrased in the easiest of language and not one answer.

In terms of murdering what would by, by their aims, their own citizens, some parties actually do!

Like I said I vote SF locally. But to dismiss the inexcusable role that SF have played nationally, and the death they have meted out to republicanism, to republicans, and to men of all shades - that cannot be dismissed and ought to be remembered by all Irish people both in the North and in the Republic, regardless of political affiliation.

The Blueshirts (the Army Comrades Association) was wound up in 1933. Fine Gael was a new party formed by a merger of Cumann na nGaedheal, the National Centre Party and the National Guard (as the ACA became known as).

Let's not pretend that Fine Gael was ever a fascist organisation, or that the events of Ireland in 1932 tell you anything about the Fine Gael of 2011.

Sinn Fein, on the other hand, is lead by a man who is believed by just about everybody to have been a leader in the IRA, responsible for countless murders. If SF/IRA manage to maintain a ceasefire for the next 70 years (and stop killing Gardai/robbing banks), then we can regard them in the same light as the guys who gave up violence after the Civil War.

Any chance you can tell me where Sinn Fein are going to get the €15,000,000,000 needed to run the state each year for the coming years?

So you don't have a clue either how social welfare, pensions and public servants will be paid?

Well at least you are honest.

    Freedom from what?

I'm not berating Sinn Fein, the media do that well enough. The past is over and the cruelty of what was executed will eventually die through those who lived with the consequences. But like as in any civilisation where the gun replaced the ballot box, we really ought not to forget; in fact we owe it to our fellow countrymen.

How dare you accuse Gerry of being in the IRA!

Ok, Il answer, I don't know. I also don't care, for a variety of reasons. Besides, I have faith in SF and Adams too.
Ive made it clear my vote is intended to get SF to be the main opposition party in the Dáil, which is about the best realistic outcome(it would take a majority for SF to be able to implement all their policy)

Wolfe Tone - direct question to you:

Where will Sinn Fein get the €15,000,000,000 to pay for our social welfare, old age pensions, health service and public servants' wages?

You don't know and you don't care?

Well, it's kind of a worrying answer again, but thanks for the honesty.

What skeletons do the Greens hide ?

I'd be interested to hear about Labour too ( excepting those blow in's who had roots in SF )

And if you have any stories about FF or FG political murders since we became a republic I'm all ears.
