Hi Easyeason3

Monday came, i arrived for work at 9am and continued with my duties...

Service Manager arrived at 09.45am, Walked past the main office and upstairs without saying hello....

So im tidying up the w/shop, i go in and ask the rec/call co ordinater (Victim) where was andy she said he was out in the northside...

Its almost 12.00pm no word from SM or Andy, i go and ask the REC whats the story and she says there wont be any issues cause she had emailed her notice into the SM friday evening...

I am disgraced at this as my SM walked in And out again without Acknowlede of her....

The whole job knows she is leaving now.... i have not heard or seen andy since then, but i believe he has been in great humour...

What a P***K, I'll give him a piece of my mind when i see him..

I'd keep my nose out of Andy's business if I was you. Usually when you give people like him enough rope they tend to hang themselves.

OP,

Id watch my back if I was you. This is a very wrong situation that I feel you were / still are in a position to change. This may come back and bite you in the ass...

At the very least id be telling the higher ups what I think and id be having a go at the receptionist about handing in notice...

I agree. I understand OPs dilemma but none of this is fair or right & will ultimately end up badly. Andy will cause bigger trouble in the future & so long as it only troubles him that's fine, but it rarely does. Unless Andy is related to the SM I think it's still worthwhile having a 'chat' with SM. This can be done purely to protect the company. Andy seems to have had 'rage' issues in the past (road rage & with a customer?) Surely this can't be good for business? How do you know the receptionist isn't planning constructive dismissal claims? Are there any other field workers who could back you up?

Horrible situation but otherwise yes, give him enough rope....

Thanks for your post, im caught between a rock and a hard stone with this one.... the other field workers are for themselves really and dont care unless its there problem.... I just hope andys day will come because if i did half of the things he done i would have swallowed the bullet a long time ago. It seems a very unfair world at times but he is starting to become a pain that wont go away. I feel it for the rec she was only finished training and this monster had to start on her

Well from your opening post the rec sounds like she has a mouth on her, if she had to keep her cool she could easily have approached the SM with a bit of credibility. But telling one your your bosses to 'get out of my face or to get stuffed' is hardly professional however much she was provoked.

Hey how do you know Andy isn't on here & has figured out this thread is about him?

I got a hasty stamp and sigh, before he quoted me " You dont want to know.... Your just like funckin her.... and he marched towards the door...

I called him to ask what his problem was but he totally ignored me and jumped into the van and sped off..

So now im meeting my SM on monday and got to decide who was right... in my head i know who was right but if i pick the rec i know my life will be made drastically difficult...

Please help

I will never know for sure??? I Know he likes the tech forum.com cause he is always printing of fault solutions for the SM...

Either way i dont care....

The rec leaves this friday, im sure he will be in the office Monday morning with the MD & SM slagging her off....

Wether it will be wise to put him straight in front of these people as he mouths of remains to be seen....

From what I read you do not have a meeting with your SM (senior manager?). If someone wants to speak to you they ask you.

You also do not have to decide who was right (if there is a meeting). You would be asked to say what happened, everything that happened, adding or subtracting nothing because of who you like or dislike. You would tell the truth.
