Did the female contestants on this show make enough complaints about this thread to warrant it being moved and now moderated to death? If so then that is absolutely laughable! My respect for boards has now dropped a few notches.

    Allow me to retort:

As I've said before.. if you've a problem with it, start a Feedback thread and we'll gladly discuss it there.

But pissing and moaning about decisions on this thread will be ignored!

Let that be the end of that here!

Been following this thread for a while and thought I'd put my opinion across. I had nothing to do with the production of this show but yes I took part in it. Just to those who mentioned it, the show is in no way scripted nor do the production crew tell the girls or guys what to say in any way.

There's been alot of talk about hypocrisy here but it seems alot of people have numerous posts both slagging the girls based on their appearance and what they say on the show and ALSO berating the girls for doing the same to the lads. Yes they chose to go on tv and as such it can be expected that people will pass remark but I can tell you these girl are fun, gorgeous and in NO way a poor representation of the Irish female.

It would be my opinion that Irish girls "in general" (though i hate to generalise) aren't up for ever just throwing caution to the wind and puttin themselves out there in the pursuit of just having the craic. So if anything I'd say they are atypical.

All the comments made were taken in good fun. The only people who take them seriously are the viewing public. If more people had the mentality of those who took part instead of the mentality of many on here who seem to think because the "rules" state commenting on someone in such a nasty manner is ok that that ACTUALLY makes it ok then Ireland would be alot more fun and easy going place to go out.

If you want REALLY stuck up go into any nightclub and politely try to enagage an attractive Irish female in conversation. In comparison then try engage most of the TMO contestants in conversation and you'll prob end up having a night of serious craic and a friend for life.:D

but I can tell you these girl are fun, gorgeous and in NO way a poor representation of the Irish female.

At the risk of recieving an infraction.........I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but seriously, c'mon. Lets call a spade a spade here, in no way could you say those girls were gorgeous.

Really? You know that for 100% certainty? You know how those guys felt? You experienced directly what they experienced? If you did fair enough, if you didnt that means you're jumping to conclusions.

Yes really. I was a guy on the show. I experienced directly what they experienced.

And I can hand on heart say that alot of the girls on the show are gorgeous. And all of them are so easy going and fun.

Looks like someone *cough* brianblaze *cough* has opened a few new boards accounts and is trying to reel people into getting infractions/bans.

haha. Is it not mainly adults on this forum? I wouldn't even expect that sort of behaviour from a 12 year old. Ask a mod to verify different IP address if you want.

Or go tell teacher and take your chances.

Btw I find it hilarious when the contestants of this show come running to boards to defend themselves. It's actually more entertaining then the show because season two absolutely sucks!

    sure is

Carla & Lauren are both gone  There are officially no nice looking girls left on the show now! :(

I think they put Charles on the show to pair Olwyn off with someone her own age but it backfired spectacularly, I mean what the hell was he waffling on about?!?!? :p Btw Foley's remark about Olwyn when she was the only one to turn her light off for the Waterford lad was abit harsh.

Btw, Jenny who went on the date with the young Limerick lad last week mentioned that she had a kid in her VT so that is now 6 women on the show who have admitted to having children. They should name this Take Me Out........As Long As I Can Get A Babysitter & You Don't Have Kids Yourself :p

I'd say Olwyn would be right craic!!

I find this series i'm going off it, last one was hilarious for some of the lines that came out.

That girl that said " Ohh i like deh english fellas" when she found out the guy was from glasgow:p

And the other who said she liked "to talk about work and a financial advisor seems a bit boring" then when asked what she did for a living she said "I'm actually unemployed at the moment"
