    Thats pretty pathetic of her to say that. Gay men are well- accepted and frankly seen as nothing out of the ordinary now. She sounds like an uptight so-and-so who probably isn't getting enough. Hence her resentment? :p

    It's not that unusual unfortunately. I used to get a lift a few years ago from a girl who was about 20 years old, and she told me one day about how she hated gay people - she said if one of her kids was gay she'd disown them and everything, I was too shocked to say anything!

    There are a LOT of people that are very homophobic out there, and racists, especially the religous types, they are VERY homophobic and i seriously mean very i actually know one and he straight out says that he actually hates them, his mothers even worse... and apart from that these are actually lovely middle class people that you would never think would have such hatred, kinda ironic though, i thought christians weren't meant to hate people?? :P

    In fairness to the woman she was probably expressing her unease at 2 men (one well into his 60's) fathering a child.

    The way this has been reported in the media as some sort of a good news story annoys a lot of people.

    She chose to express her annoyance at this using pig-ignorant and crude terms.

    That's up to her to do so and her opinions are devalued by using such terms.

    However, not everyone who is opposed to this sort of adoption is hating for the sake of hating.

    in the same sentence?! not sure my foreign friends would approve of that. its not like being from abroad is abnormal

    i don't hate gays, just fear them. the thought of another man in the shadows looking on, goin mmm.. i'd love to stick my tongue so far up his rectum, frankly makes me paranoid. their actual advances leaves them black and blue. in my book its more of an offense to assume one is gay, even than it is to be one.

    if you happen to be gay, well i believe in one love/one lover, for your eyes only, the feelings mutual.. etc.. try and adhere to that.
