i was in work today and a teacher from the local primary school was in. there was a magazine with elton john and his partner and their new baby. she picked it up and said something along the lines of "these pair of gobsh!tes" so i said "well, yeah elton is a toss pot but the baby is adorable", then she shuddered and said "ugh, no i don't agree with that, ugh"
anyway, i could type out every word but basically she's a homophobic bitch, she refered to gay people as "dirty fcuking bastards" :mad:

i'm really shocked... am i really innocent or something? she's only thirty two so it's not like she's a backward oul wan.

have you ever been face to face with this sort of cnutish behavior? i felt like fingerin my friend in front of her tbh :pac:

OK just calm the f*ck down. People are allowed to disagree with you. It is actually not against the law to be racist/homophobic.

It really is, on my estate the amount of hate toward gay couples is unreal. It seems to be the remnants of a Catholic upbringing around here, because it's always "I don't mind if they're gay but it's unnatural and kids shouldn't be brought into it" and stuff like that.

That amount of vitriol and hate probably would have made a lot of people feel uncomfortable IMO, no matter what the subject matter. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but personally I've rarely encountered someone so eager to rant about such a controversial topic to a relative stranger.

That said WAHT, I'd have tolerated the rant if I could see her expression while you were fingering your friend.
