Loved Wagon Wheels! The ones with jam came in a blue wrapper from what I recall.

    Logical explanation
    Hot food= Tinfoil
    Cold food= Cling film

But that was the beauty of the school sambo!

Munching down on paper-thin hang sangichs. As I got older the roll overtook the sambo. But it was still pleasantly flat.

Cling film can double up as a condom if you're stuck but then again so can tin foil its just noisier and less sensual.
    Cling film wins.

Tinfoil FTW, the ole tin foil ball was a great weapon, cling-film was only good for stretching over the toilet.....

Anyone have wagon wheels with their lunch?

I must have had about 1000 of these back in the day... got pretty sick of them...

Penguin bars, think I ate one a day for 15 years :)

TinFoil all the way,, always had a nagging feeling that ClingFilm had some sort of adhesive (probably not the case) invecting my sandwiches. CRAZY I KNOW

Cling film. Very good for keeping sambos fresh :)

Cling film is impossible to use.

Yup. And I only ever liked the Jam filled ones. The plain ones are horrible.

I had a lunch box which usually contained a wagon wheel along with various other junk food that parents would nowdays be frowned upon for giving their kids.

Pretty much every day with lunch. The jam ones were the best.

I found a packet of jammie ones recently and I was so disappointed. Turns out there actually disgusting. One more child hood memory ruined :(

    Sando's wrapped in greaseproof paper.

No cling wrap when I went to school, and tin foil was not used for wrapping lunch.

Tin foil keeps the sun off it...
