That communist lad seems to have his finger stuck on submit reply.

You mean the Deputy Foreign Minister? Sounds like their autoreply anyway.

Well theres a good few TDs with 'investments' in Russia so it's probably the last we hear about it unless the Russians actually do get pisy and leak details about bank accounts and whatnot..

we're dealing with spy swaps and espionage so anythings game ball!

It seems to be standard procedure that the number of embassy staff sent packing, depends on the level of "hurt:rolleyes:" felt by the victim country. There were bound to be more people involved, but there had to be a token expulsion.

I expect an Irish diplomat on the piss in Moscow will be returning home shortly, bags under his eyes, and stinking of whores and vodka, with his shirt hanging out.

For Russia maybe. Our keystone cop defending should see us 3-0 down again before the vodka's even kicked in.

    And it begins...
What begins, do you think that during all out nuclear war it's not within the realms of possibility that either superpower would have no compunction in nuking a neutral (non aligned) country.

As for the present hissy fit Russia is throwing because they got caught forging Irish documents and using them to spy on another country then they can fock right off, thats not the act a friendly nation.

We kicked up a stink when Israel was caught doing the same thing, Russia sure a hell isn't getting a pass on it either no matter how much they piss and moan.

Wouldn't worry about the stuff we know they're doing. The stuff they fuck up.

You have to worry about what they're taking care of properly. And getting away with.

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.

I remember reading in the paper years ago that one of the superpowers (think it was Russia) had plans to nuke Shannon and Dublin airports if the cold war ever escalated to prevent them falling into the enemies hands.

I read that aswell. I also remember reading that they wanted Galway bay for their navy, something about it being the nearest suitable harbour to the New York area. Scary!

What that thing does at 0.28 , 1.05, and 1.40 is just brilliant.

While they are here they might fly over Kildare Street and sort it all out for us.

One of their diplomats stole a bunch of Irish passport details, got the passports cloned, had Russian spies in the US using the passports who all got caught, and now because we're expelling the Diplomat who did the thieving, they're threatning 'retalliation'.
So what'll they do? Withdraw Chicken Kiev's from Irish shelves? The whole thing's ridiculous. These are adults too.

The missus and myself were in Russia a few years back. Almost entirely an awful place, shìt food, terrible manner, expensive, dirty. Never as glad to cross the border into Mongolia.
