Smokers; do you regret taking up smoking?

I don't smoke but I'm curious as to whether or not people who do smoke regret taking up the habit/ wish they didn't smoke/ want to give up. I've smoked when drunk on occasion and enjoyed it, although I can see that trying to get away with having just 2 or 3 when drunk every so often is a stupid thing to do as it is so easy to get addicted (I haven't done this in months and don't intend to in the future). So smokers, regret taking it up?

There should be a poll option for people who quit, asking do they regret taking it up in the first place.
Just saying

Twas harder to get fit again as an ex-smoker, I had the lung capacity of a f*cking teabag for ages.

Same,but iv'e just had a big steak,chips and pepper sauce dinner and the smoke after it was almost as good as sex,dam.

I love smoking, but I love my lungs more so that's why I'm quitting the fookers.

Should have added the option to the poll to say that
- you've given up smoking and regret ever taking it up
- you've given up smoking but masochistically are glad you took it up at one stage!!
- you smoke rarely (eg. 2 or 3 sometimes on a night out) but are not addicted

Also, does anybody smoke a very small number of cigarettes a day eg. 3 or less? That would be pretty strange

Yes definitely regret ever putting a fag in my mouth but I looked so cool when I was thirteen with a big superking sticking out of my mouth :rolleyes: I got an e-cig three weeks ago and have not smoked a fag since, best invention ever. I'm richer and smell nicer and can taste my food, it's all good

yes smoke three a night. only smoke at night and not every night.

Considering i only started smoking when i was 29, yes its the biggest regret i hold personally.

I intend on giving them up very soon.
