Boxes of pocket watches for repair/parts €20
The are three that appear to be complete, except for the bow, but not running. Brass, silver plate and silver cases.

    Pic here

Hiya 98-00, this thread is more of a link thread to other sites, primarily Adverts.ie, not a selling thread in of itself. As the first post says "You can put a post here inform the readers of the Watches & Timepieces forum that you have an item(s) for sale by providing them with a link to the item on adverts.ie

All the dealing is to be done over on www.adverts.ie following their rules. " Maybe fire your job lot up on Adverts.ie?

If you can beg borrow or steal a better camera HM. They look like nice watches, but the pics really let you down. You'll get too many of the dopes offering a tenner.

Not selling anything but I have a copy of the Bell & Ross 2010 catalogue and price list for free if anyone wants it, they sent me two copies by mistake.

You can register on their website to receive the catalogue aswell, I just want to pass this one on rather than just throwing it out.

Hi lads, I have a TAG I want to sell. I bought it about 12 yrs ago. Anyone know where online I might be able to find the name/spec of the watch?. Need to sell to raise some cash in these hard times. I can put up a pic if anybody thinks they might be able to spot which one it is by looking at it. Thanks.

Yeah, throw up a clear photo (use macro mode if needs be) and someone might be able to ID it for you.

I'll try and get that sorted tomorrow thanks.

By the looks of it, it is a Tag Heuer Link with Tritium hands and hour markers. Model number for the blue dialled version from 1999 is wg121a.fc6148 if that's any help

Many thanks (fair play for finding all that out!)... you dunno where might be good to advertise it apart from adverts.ie, donedeal.ie etc?. Is there a good website for selling 2nd hand watches do you know?.

eBay might be worth a punt?

+1 for ebay. I have serious issues with ebay, but if you're a seller it's a way better bet than the Irish sites. Our local sites can be great for general stuff, but for anything approaching specialty or luxury items and it's often pointless. Sad to say all too often they quickly descend into horse trading with chancers or windowlickers firing up really bloody stupid low ball offers. EG "Hello, Faberge egg to sell" First response "I'll give ya a tenner" *dribbles*.

Take good photos and as much detail as you can muster. Marketing defo sells with watches. I know because in the past I've grabbed some nice bargains because of bad photos and no detail :o:)
