Yes, Amsterdam is the best city in Europe, but staying at home, I was at a stag in Dingle last year, and I really recommend it. Its a long drive (from Dublin anyway) but its worth it. Dick Mac's Bar for some serious fun. ;)

Dingle....the only activity there is 'drink' :D
    Great place alright!

Why avoid Limerick? Ive been out there loads of times (my sister lives in croom) and ive found the night life to be great - people sound - women loose :pac:

Why do you say to aviod it? Just interested and all....
Lived there for a while. Thought it was a complete sh!thole. I lived in Waterford and found that a lot better, grand night-life there.

Im having a stag in June, and its going to be a whole weeked affair. I was thinking toward sligo, Limerick or perhaps Cork.

Any ideas? Been to Kilkenny before and while the town is great, would rather somewhere different.... Derry or Belfast?

Want to Keep it in Ireland
Come to Sligo. Take a charter fishing trip, ye can bring a case of cans out with you too. Maybe surfing then the other day?

Plenty of pubs in town for after that, couple of nightclubs but one in particular aimed at Stag and Hens.

Another vote for Carlow here, went there last summer for a stag do and was surprised at the buzz around the place, i can't remember many detail because i was absolutely rubber but i know i had a good time. I prefered it over Kilkenny anyway.
