hi guys.

Just picked the game up today.. looks great but do you really have to let some driver race around for you?
Im sure its been discussed but dont have the patience to go back over 71 pages..

ah right nice one.. was getting worried because its an awful feature i just want to drive the car not just tell some guy to speed up or slow down.. Thanks anyway ill get involved in A spec now..

The car is very fast 400km/h and you have to beat S.Vettels time

I wouldn't ignore B Spec. There are some decent cars to be won there.

GT5 Touring Car Championship on Tuesdays

Tuesday nights usually do not suit me - this evening is an exception.

It appears that people are more into the same car race than testing and improving their tuning and modding skills.

Maybe Wednesdays should just become a casual meet for a couple of hours for some fun online racing - that might be a good way to get an online community going??? I am sure some championships might develop from it (such as a same class championship or a same car championship etc.) If there is interest in a casual weekly meet-up then let me know in the mid-week league thread.

edit: theres a seasonal event that you need a citroen c4 wrc for, im finished mine so if anyone would like that i could pass the car onto you. Well worth doing as you get 1,500,000cr for winning 1 five lap race

Just to confirm:

TroutFisher will be sent the Elise tonight and guil the TTS tomorrow. I'm assuming irish_stevo got the Ford GT?

That leaves me with an RX-7 and a Ford Focus if anyone wants them.

If someone is finished with the Citroen WRC in a few days I wouldn't mind that. I hadn't intended on paying €1,000,000 for the car just to win a little extra. I would of course pass it on again to whoever needs it. My PSN is liamandagnieszka.

Haha you're OK. I don't want them, just send it onto someone else who needs it. This is a great little setup we have so we should try and keep it going. It'll probably be Thursday or Friday before I send the RX-7 onto you there are one or two people ahead of you in the queue I'm afraid.

I got this for x-mas. I only got to really play it over the last few days. Loving it so far. (level 13 A-spec at the moment)
The intermediate Top Gear challenge was a bitch!! Took me an hour to get silver last night. Missed out on the gold by 0.007 :mad::mad::mad: I might have another crack at that this evening

I bought a Shelby GTR350 '65 for one of the classic races. It slides all over the places, but its tons of fun Tops out at 130 though, i read earler on here to get the fully adjustable gearbox for it to increase top speed. must do that.

Its been a while since ive had a game that i couldnt wait to get home to play

If I can give one bit of advice to anyone who hasn't yet bought a touring car. Do not spend the €1,500,000 on the Merc 190. The Opel Astra at just a shade under €1,000,000 stomps all over it.

Was the NASCAR seasonal event around the nurburgring as easy for anyone else as it was for me :eek: I nearly didn't do it because I was afraid of buying a car and coming last and loosing 500,000 of my 1,200,000 credits over it turned out to be the easiest event in the whole game so far for me and the easiest 500,000 profit I'll probably ever make in the game..

stuck soft racing tyres on and had everyone long overtaken before the straight on the second lap - ended up winning by 14 seconds

dunno why so many people are having problems with it because I'm far from a good driver and if I found it so easy I can't understand how other people found it so hard

Quick question, sorry if its been asked before, but i didnt install it to the HD when i got it. (i didnt know about it, i just put the disk in and it started playing)
anyway, if i as to install it now, will i loose my progress so far?
