You can still do that- those races are still open for a few days yet.

The Nascar? I thought it finished on the 13th.

It's the other two in the next lot of events that I wasn't bothered spending the 1m cr on if I could avoid it.

Does anyone else think that they've made the seasonal events far too easy by allowing you to tune as much as possible? After struggling with the previous events (which are gone now) I fully tuned the dodge challenger which I already had and won by 30+ secs, couldn't believe it, same with the golf one around the nurburgring.

By winning these two races I went from level 16 to level 20! I then won a race in the expert events (supercar festival I think) and the money/xp I won in comparison was ridiculously small. Just feels a bit like cheating, up to this I was enjoying the fact that you had to think about what car you needed and the races were actually competitive. But a million credits for tuning a golf and easily out pacing a beetle or whatever?? I'm not so sure...

Thats true, but when you get to the endurance events it will make a difference in terms of leveling up. The seasonal events mean that you wont need to do the same races over and over and over again just to unlock one more race.

The money rewared is carzy though relative to the other races.

I guess maybe they were more aimed at people who were already at a high A-spec level i.e. 25-35 to help them get more money/xp a bit easier.

They still could have made them more challenging though, without the tuning restrictions they're a joke. It's like they started off thinking "what would make a good close race?" for the first two groups of races they put up but then stopped bothering to think about it.

I wonder if they'll ever do B-Spec ones?

If anyone has the NASCAR and is thinking of spending 900K odd on a car for the JGTC Season 4 race, then use the NASCAR to win the Japanese GT race in the Extreme series. The prize for that is a JGTC car (I hope - I've only done 2 of the 3 races in the Japenese race, but got gold easy enough with the Nascar).

I can't win any of the races in the extreme series the difficulty ramps up too much

Bugger, I just see on another forum that the car you win for the Extreme GT series isn't eligible for the JGTC Season 4 race. It's either do the B-Spec Super GT race or go buy one and I don't have the XPs yet for my driver to enter the Super GT race.

If anyone is finished with their Ford GT or Citroen Rally car for the final two SE3 races could I borrow one? Didn't get back in time to finish the stupid Nascar at the Nurburg ring.

I have both that I can send you if you like, Ford GT tuned to about 600 BHP and easily won its event and the Citroen WRC is about 400ish and easily won also.

Add me when ya get a chance if your still interested.

Schwarzwald League - Buy the Opel Astra when it becomes available and you'll easily win

Like The Wind - Buy the Nissan '89 Le Mans car and on the B-Spec you'll win the Minolta Toyota '89 (brilliant car)

NASCAR Series - Struggling with this myself

European Championship - Buy the Ferrar 458 and tune it to the hilt

German Touring Car Championship - Use the Opel Astra here. The Merc 190 which costs about Cr1.5,000,000 is pretty poor

Super GT - I bought a Nissan for this, think it was about Cr850,000- it was enough to win the Championship

American Championship - I won a Le Mans Ford GT somewhere along the line and used this

Formula Gran Turismo World Championship - Not done this yet

Dream Car Championship - I used the Le Mans Toyota I won above for this and easily won it.

In terms of tuning there are only two things I do, lower the suspension and adjust the gear ratios to match the track. If there are a lot of turns on the track a high top speed isn't important. If there are a lot of straights then top speed is important. Adjust the ratios to suit the track you're racing on.

Anyone need the Ford GT or the Louts Elise for the Seasonal Events? If ya do, just add me on PSN (ID: irish_stevo) and just say youre looking for it. I'll do it on a first come first serve basis.

Also if anyone is willing to loan me the Citroen WRC for the Seasonal Event, it would be great. I'll give it back when done. Just don'r see the point spending 850,000 to get 1.5 mil.

Formula Gran Turismo World Championship - Not done this yet

if your interested in getting the trophy for finishing the extreme events make sure you do the full championship. i won each race individually over a few days and it doesn't count.

the problem is the championship should take at least 3 hours. :(

Did that championship last night, takes time and one mistake could rune the race and championship, i won the first two quit the third won the next two then ruined the last race by using the wrong tires. I was winning the championship by 85 points but the second place driver was leading the pack in the last race and i was last by a mile :( . So i just turned the wrong way and drove against that driver blowing him out of the way and further down the pack. Start.. Quit race and i won the championship by 5 points :D ping trophy lol

Cheers for the Citroën, worked out nicely. You should hopefully have it back now.

I threw on a set of racing tyres rather than spending 30 mins perfecting the last and fourth last corners

    Supra (Supllied by Quazzie)
    Golf GTI
    Challenger
    Volvo C-30
    The mad electric Mitsubishi

These are still available to whoever may want them and there's no need to give them back, just pass them onto someone else when you're done.
