That tall girl Irina is smokin hot!! What are the chances she is not Irish? This show annoys me because there are a few hot women on each series but they barely get two words to say so they are never on the screen for too long:(.

The way things are going some guy could walk out and say that he has just won the euromillions and that he is a Calvin Klein underwear model and also does volunteer work with orphans and he also works in an animal sanctuary and the majority of the women would turn their light off and use some stupid excuse like "I don't like his shoes" or as one girl said tonight "his trousers are too short".

I think she is German, here you can always go here and pause on her and stare at her :phttp://www.tv3.ie/shows.php?request=takemeout&tv3_preview=&video=31000

Haha i said the exact same thing to myself when i watched the show! there is not a hope she is 19!

She most definitely is. Lighting in the studio is quite harsh on her..

I was surprised to see this back so soon!

It's amazing that all the women are completely different then the last series yet they all have the exact same attitudes and excuses, ie: "his eyebrows are too bushy", "I don't like his trousers", "he's too short", "I don't like his stumble/beard".

    Then the old classics:

"My ideal man would be a bogger in a suit", cue a bogger in a suit........lights out!

"My ideal man would have to be rough and not afraid to get a few slaps", cue European karate champion........lights out!:rolleyes:
She most definitely is. Lighting in the studio is quite harsh on her..

....I'd say mother nature was quite harsh on her too :p

You do realise these people have put themselves on television a choice of their own and should expect to be judged and to be honest Im sure these are the kind of people who want to be talked about good or bad

You do realise they're just trying to be nice, and not pick out the real flaws that they find with the guy? For instance the woman who said the guy's trousers were too short, more than likely turned off her light because he was black(!). They have their reasons, they just don't want to say. Like if I was on a show like that and some fat bird with a moustache and crossed eyes came out, I'd come up with some excuse as well! It's called being polite :pac:

He's 6'2" according to himself, he says this repeatedly on his radio show (I don't listen voluntarily but I always seem to hear him mention his height when I do).

Having met him, and being taller than that myself, I'd say he's more 6'0"/6'1", but he's certainly nowhere near 6'4", even with Bono-shoes. :)

id love to see the reversal and the girl comes out to about 30 fellas picking her flaws, that would make good telly:pac:

on a serious note the cheek of some of them women pot calling kettle black no wonder they all single, fritzl wouldnt keep half them in his basement.

you do realise that series one and two were filmed at the same time and the present audience is actually those from series one and vice versa.

 why don't the girls give the same consideration to the guys who go on the show with their family and friends watching.

Are we meant pretend that the ugly big girls are stunners?

Well if the girls on this show are polite I'd hate to see their nasty streaks. If you watched the last series then you'd see that they are rarely nice to the guys and all they do constantly nit-pick and put guys down. Even the first show in the new series one girl hit her light off because the guy had a hole in his sock.........I mean what the f**k is that about! :D

But you are right that particular girl that was put on the spot was trying not to be nasty, but the other one went straight for the jugular; "You're too old, short and bald".........even the guy said in the VT that there was nothing he could do about his height age and lack of hair :pac:

Btw I recorded the UK show lastnight and watched it just there, it's a million times better then the Irish one in every single way........but that's another thread entirely.

Most of the girls this time and last series are complete munters :(

The fellas are pretty bad too :(

Seems to me a lot of the girls are not on it for date but instead seem to think it's going to make them celebrities overnight

There's always the option not to insult them on their physical appearance. None of the girls on the show ever called a guy ugly... Feel free to insult their socks or their height, as the girls do on the show.

Where do you get this crap from? Have you seen any of the girls from series one in celeb magazines, on tv again....anywhere!! I'm in touch with a lot of the girls from series one and we all packed up our high heels and went back to work!! You get an odd randomer in a pub maybe asking 'Are you your one off Take Me Out?'!! I don't walk around with a neon sign strapped to my back, none of us do!! Did you hear one of the girls say anything of the like on the show? I watched every episode and not once did I hear any of the girls say 'Well I'm an aspiring actress and thought this ****ty dating show would be the perfect platform to launch my career?!!!' Get a grip!!

Just because no one said they wanted to use the show to get publicity/money/possible work dosen't mean they weren't thinking it or discussed it in private!

I just DON'T buy this "i did it for a laugh" malarky, yeah....some of the girls did but i GUARANTEE some want more then just a laugh off the back of the show.

I hate the UK version of this show, but compared to the Irish version of the show, they seem to at least get something right - they seem to find men who attract the woman they select to participate. Now, the thing is, that could say either one of two things....

    1. That Irish women are too selective when it comes to choosing a man
    2. That there are no good Irish men for Irish women

I think that, compared to the UK, we are not so far gone as a society that we are at the stage where women in Ireland (of a certain age) would take as much sexual liberties as their counterparts in the UK. I think it's safe to assume that most of the girls on the UK version of the show know that the end result is a recorded date (a free holiday), and 99.5% of the time - at very best - a shag, which most of them are used to getting on a Summer holiday anyway from a complete stranger.

To give you an idea, a recent survey said that UK women under 40 are 73% more likely to carry a condom and instigate sex on a successful first encounter then 20 years ago, whereas I think if an Irish women carried a condom she'd be seen as "up for it" or easy

I think in this respect that Irish girls are much more reserved, and although they would take sexual liberties with a trusted partner, there are still not as many "loose women" on the streets of Ireland compared to the UK. The Irish girls are also very mindful of the country being smaller, their faces being known, and therefore want to keep their respect intact - and fair play

When the production team brought this show over they probably felt they'd find a load of prostitutes who'd queue up for the idea of a free dinner and date, but were surprised to find Irish women had a little more class, and didn't just salivate over every man's arse like a hungry dog

Just to follow up to that, here's what happened when a Cork man came onto the UK show

So in other words Irish girls are ultra fussy prudes while British women are basically out and out slappers :p

Btw I'm not sure why you added that clip of the lad from Cork on the UK show, the accent alone would of gotten him a date no bother. Here's another Irish fella on the UK show, not surprisingly he got a date also, those UK ladies love the accent! The question is, would they have gotten dates on the Irish show?
