I actually think video reffing would INCREASE the number of, shall we call them "soft penos" which most fans here seem to think shouldn't be a penalty.
Unless you change the rules of the game I would expect todays situation to be a peno sometimes and sometimes not without video reffing and every time with video reffing.

Because it was a pen! And it was also a dive. Just illustration that when you live by the sword you have to be prepared to die by the sword.

ha, look it really wasn't. I'm not gonna say Liverpool dont get things they dont deserve or dodgey decisions now and again too, of course they do. But lets just be clear, that was not a pen. Contact does not constitute a foul and all the people on here who are spouting letter of the law stuff are making it up as they go along.

Anyway, I'll drop it now, because it was given and I'll just be hopin it gets evened out with a similar non penalty at the other end, :)

But Daglish is playing Rafa's system. Of course the players will look better this way as it is his formation.

So obvious yet Roy never thought of it.

Another one that needs to learn the rules, even with Video evidence it was still a Penalty.

No need to rolleyes. In the spirit of the law it wasn't a penalty. Also there is no way that Howard really knew what happened there. That decision was a total guess.

If video technology was introduced then the rules, as written, would have to be tightened up and there would be no more debate. (Well if it was introduced successfully there would be no debate)

At the moment it is undoubtedly the case that football turns honest players into dishonest ones.

Do you think the hour or so that Kenny Dalglish had with the players this morning has changed the way they play?

If so he must be one hell of a manager to get his points and objectives across in that short a time.

i don't know what's happened, but we're keeping the ball a lot better than we have done in months.

    genuinely.

have you watched us this season?

it's a knock out compition you would expect that.

lets see how it goes when you get back to buisness.

If anything it being a knock out competition should make it more frantic as well as there being more effort.

But the actual style of play from Liverpool is very different today. More expansive and more attacking, with a greather emphasive on actually keeping hold of the ball than I have seen in their other games this season, including the win over Chelsea.

For the talk of Liverpool playing better I'd be fairly sure United could shut them down pretty sharpish if they wanted to.

Lets assume the 30 mins here is going to be the same as every 30 mins for the rest of the season so will we?

Play well and lose under Kenny or completely fold to inferior teams and lose anyway

Three one up at Goodison in injury time and the game finished three all.

Two nil up against West Brom at Old Trafford and the game finished two all.

Away at Fulham. You even let us back into the league match when we should never have been.

You's are top of the league and deservedly so. All i'm saying is, you's can be got at, That's all
