    Have the latency issues gotten much worse for anyone recently? For the past two weeks I thought it was improved greatly. Very little issues. Yes, you'd die the odd time in some weird way, but only the odd time.

    Now, almost every death is questionable. I always watch kill cams and they can be very very funny. Whereas before, the timing might be out slightly from what you saw while playing to what you're enemy saw on the kill cam, now it seems to be vast.

    I mean, in one yesterday, I ran around a corner... guy there, we both start shooting. I almost empty the clip. I get a few hit markers, I die. No big deal, he won the gunfight. I watch the kill cam......
    Basically, on his screen, I ran around the corner. He starts shooting, I'm dead. I barely even lift my gun.... not a single shot fired :eek: :mad:

    There's always going to be latency/lag issues, but if this is the best they can do then it'll fail in the long run. I'm still going to play it, as I don't have any alternative, but it's starting to really get on my nerves.

    If you really wanna see how bad the hit detection in Blops is go back and play MW1 or 2, I was dropping people who were running with a sniper rifle not a bother in MW1 last night, I've literally stood behind people camping and aimed for the head and got hitmarkers on blops.

    The other night I was playing on Hanoi with some of the boards lads and i was doing crap, i was texting someone and just standing in a corner, a guy ran up to me and started firing a sniper rifle at me, took him about 5 shots to finally kill me, he was all of 6 feet away. if that doesnt tell you how bad the snipers in Blops are i dunno what will

    That's probably a result of their efforts to combat quick scoping.

    ah still though, ive gotten really random noscopes on people as well, cursor was nowhere near them and wound up killing them in one shot, panic fired and got headshots on people.

    I honestly haven't had many problems with snipers since the patch. The WA2000 and the Dragunov are 2 shots except for headshots pretty much and that has to be accepted. The PSG with no attachments is one of my favourite snipers from any COD at the moment. The L96 is brilliant too. I think that you experience there may be as a result of the player rather than the gun because I always get one shot kills except when I blatantly shoot them in the legs.

    Just started gettin into online Black Ops as my last internet connection was pants. I couldn't believe the drop in quality of the graphics in the online game compared to MW2. Even on a hd tv the game is visually poor.

    Oh how I would love to play this game with a 5 bar connection and with no lag issues instead of shooting people square in the chest with a sniper rifle two or three times and not even getting a hit marker only for them to turn around and kill me.

    Seriously though I had to stop myself from throwing the controller at the TV so much with this game, alot more times than I had to do with MW2:mad::D. Tonight I really had to refrain myself tonight from smashing my controller and the TV .

    So there I was today, playing my last game before I turned the xbox off to do some study so in a bit of a rush. Some camper kills me on radiation and in a moment of hopeful randomness I fire a ballistic knife across the map towards his general direction and guess what? Headshot ballistic knife across most of the map taking out the camper, right after I spawn. Being incredibly happy thinking finally my first clip for youtube I exit the match and go to theater mode to view it and edit it so I can finish up and start studying.

    IT WASN'T FÚCKING THERE. Found out the hard way you need to finish a game to save it to theater mode. :(

    go into recent players and pick one that was playing with you or against and you get the knife attack that way, worth a shot

    You don't. It takes a while to appear if you exit early. I got a cross map tomo in Summit before, exited and it wasn't there. It appeared in the list around 15 mins later (can't remember if it was top or in the order it should have appeared)

    Any idea what the trade in value is on Blops? I was seriously considering trading it in at the beginning of December but I kept putting it off thinking to myself that it would get better in time. But no, this game is BULLSH*t! i keep giving it the benefit of the doubt and hoping everytime I'll play I'll enjoy it. So many things piss me off about it and the connection seems to be sh*te all the time (granted this could be my broadband) but it was never this bad on MW2, I'm so annoyed emptying a clip into some one and for nothing to happen. I know MW2 had its faults but it was way more enjoyable to play than this crap and visually it beats Blops hands down.

    People say that this game is alot more balanced than MW2 but I can't see it, atleast in MW2 if I got in a direct fire fight with someone I would have a chance at winning it but I do give up hope if it happens in this. The last few games I have had in Blops I've noticed that the grenade launcher brigade seem to have jumped into Blops and the amount of times I have died from some guy running around with his grenade launcher cocked and ready to fire.

    Everybody seems to be using Ghost, last stand and the Ak-47u, and not to mention those f*cking RC-xds:mad:

    I actually bought bfbc2 vietnam yesterday for a bit of variety. Will probably go back to blops from time to time until the new maps are released but I think part of my frustrations were it was the only game I played and as I got better and better than the average players things like being denied a triple kill and having your killstreak broken from 3 lads in second chance and as said above - the noobtube brigade - mixed in with rc cars for two kills compared to the absolute patheticness of the higher end killstreaks made me less angry and more 'meh' about the game.

    I just don't see the lasting value right now.

    I got a quad kill with a care package that I booby-trapped last night and it didn't record it on my recent games :( The worst thing is that I set up my hdpvr last night for the first time and that was one of the games I didn't record :o

    Anyone know if attack choppers tend to attack the top scorer more often than the rest of your team ? Maybe its just me, but i seem to be targeted by those ****ing things every time they're up, sh!t i could be inside a building and the things still ****ing shooting at me. Havent got my stingers/ghostpro yet so its really anothing. Just seems it picks me out because of how much beasting i be doing.


    Bad few games last nite.... W/L dropped to around 2.0 and K/D to 2.95... stupid team balancing system.

    When you are looking at your recent games just press up which brings you to the bottom of the list,then go back up and it should be there.If not just try it a couple of times

    In the last 30mins iv had 2 freezes at the loading screen, waiting for other players..................

    what a ****ed up game that you have to restart you ps3 and in my case router too, has to be bad for your ps3. Infact iv heard stories of YLOD being caused by all this restarting

    competitive gaming is always about using the BEST, why would you want to put yourself in a disadvantage ? I believe that the guns to use in GB's are the Famas/AK74 or the G11 because... they're the best. In CS the only guns people use are the AK and the M4, SMG for eco rounds and one person would buy an AWP, thats just how it works.

    You'll always meet jackasses, just because they're playing a different game doesnt mean they're not gonna be jackasses. The same pricks that played GB's in MW2 are still playing GB's in Blops. You'll find some nice teams, we used to play with the same 2 or 3 teams regularly because they were cool.

    Level 42 i think atm, disconnected about 5 or 6 times so far. No freezes yet.

    Oh yeah, while I'm at it what's the deal with my kills not registering against my nemises when the end of game details come up. It has happened a few times now where I know for a fact that I have killed an enemy but it will end up saying that they have killed me x amount of times and I have killed them zero times. I even went back and viewed the game again in theatre mode and it shows me killing him a few times:confused:

    I think that's an issue where they leave the game before the stat screen appears.

    I'm not 100% of this, but I've had similar issues (incl. situations where it says my kills and deaths against my Nemesis are 0-0)

    I haven't played since Christmas eve and from reading here it sounds like nothing has changed,i think i will stick with MW2 until i hear some good news about this game.
