yeah, this thread is just for people to bitch in (Usually the same 5 or 6 people over and over and over). Its not fair to say its a better game than MW2 because some people prefer MW2, however I and alot of others think its better than MW2.

It wasn't the gameplay that stopped me playing,it was the freezing and loss of connection,like it was happening at least twice every time i played,i do think it is a great game,but to many problems for me to continue playing it.

I really enjoyed the story mode in the game. I think the zombies games are great and viciously addictive. For those reasons I will keep the game. I'm very tempted to get back to MW2 for the online play though. I haven't got to the stage where I even know the maps so maybe I'm copping out early but I just can't get over the decline in visuals from MW2. There was a lot of **** spoken about Treyarch when the news broke that they were developing the game. They got a lot right such as the balance in weapons and perks but lag and poor graphics are ruining it. Did they sacrifice quality for quantity? Maybe people were right when they doubted Treyarch.

Everyone is entitled to their view and its the bitch thread, no point trying to defend the game, if people dont like it then so be it. Black ops is much better than MW2 (imo) so let people play MW2 if they want.

The point of my post was to tell him not to take the opinion straight off of people from this thread, because its a thread focused on the negatives of the game.

They need to sort out host choice, is it so hard to have a rank system for hosts? Getting many bad quality hosts lately which is annoying as I'm a lag free host whenever I get it >.>

Back on topic.

Sick of people who are completely over dependent on one perk and one gun.

I though finally, no more ungodly perk like commando(MW2) or Martydom(COD4) and no more UMP(MW2) or P90(COD4). But here we are with the 74u coupled with rapid fire and ghost.

Also hitmarkers from 2 feet away in the upper chest with the L96! :mad:

About the hitmarkers Ade I heard they reduced the damage for snipers at close range compared to longer range in a bid to stop noscoping/quickscoping. Although there's times I've hit a guy dead centre in the chest from 2 feet and get nothing, and miss completely at long range and get a headshot.

Surely that can't be a popular class?? I was using a similar class to that for a while, but the 74u + rapid fire = empty clip. Scavenger is an absolute must with that combo. I just don't see how someone can get by with ghost...certainly not to any great effect.


I think all they have to do to the 74u is bring down the range damage. I got sniped from across the map in cracked yesterday with it:rolleyes:

I'm really starting to get freaked out by this game.

I'm not nearly as good as most of ye guys, but I'm above average. About two weeks ago I was absolutely kicking ass (for me). Winning most games. I was mainly using the likes of the AK47, AUG, Commando, G11 etc etc. I chop and change a lot.... but must say, the AUG became a firm favourite.

Anyway, early last week everything went to hell. I posted on this page about latency issues, and I still say that was it. Suddenly I couldn't win a gunfight. Any one on one was like they were playing in normal speed and me in slow motion. I was finishing games in last place at times.
I was pumping entire clips into people and they were killing me with one burst. Sometimes with one bullet to the leg or the likes.

Now, last two days, it's back to normal* again. Kicking ass again with the AUG (I couldn't kill anyone with it for a full week. I actually had a game of domination where I went 4-22). I've stopped dying by the first bullet to hit me and am back to winning ways.


This has me very confused. I understand there are latency issues from game to game. What I don't get is how it got so unbelievably bad for me for a full week, then back to normal again. It doesnt really make any sense. Unless it was purely my own connection issues. I do use a wireless connection... is it worth getting it wired? Is there anything else I can do to help? (other than get a better internet connection, that's not an option for me).




*When I say normal, I mean more average. i.e. sometimes it will be good, sometimes bad. Like I know everyone has seen the empty a clip into someone to no avail. But whats weird is it was happening every gunfight in every game for a full week.

very frustrated with blop"s , had a few great games last night , then it was back to square one , getting shot from 200 yrds away with handguns , while i see the guy first and casually aim and pump , hit markers a boo boo , then he turns around and kills me with a handgun ,i mean come on.

i originally traded my mw2 for blops , got 20 euro for it, so i went out today to buy it back expecting to pay 35 euro:eek: i end up getting it for 20 euros , im well happy now , i had a game of domination and got 63 k 18 d , oh the joy im sooooo happy right now, ill still keep blops , in the hope they will patch the sht out of it.:(

had 5 games ealier on bops and host migrated from 3, i was top scorer for 2 of these rounds, very very frustrating so it was. i was pissed off playing a round after this and had to put it down. is there any word on treyarch fixing this sh!t cos its ruining the game?

Host migrations have been in every CoD, well maybe not w@w + cod4 (I think when the host left thte server just shut down automatically). Its a downside to the p2p **** they use.

no idea , i just know ill be playing mw2 `till i hear its better from other boardies, i just cant play the dam thing as it is , no enjoyment from it.

I was playing mw2 the last day and when a host migrated it would find a new one asap and carry on the game, thus not losing points in bops it just closes the game down and goes back to the main lobby! SUCKS

The guns are really really **** and the graphics look like poo, also the online play is **** unless your the host.

Its my only game tho so im going to play it and force myself to enjoy it.
