Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This one puzzled me too. Bit of research found the answer: one of them was not released in 3D - Harry Potter!

btw Dial M for Murder was adapted from a stage play not the other way around.

I forgot to pick up yesterday's (Monday's) Irish Times so missed questions 51-60 (Donald Clarke's film questions). I've checked online and they don't seem to have put them on the site. I don't suppose anyone would have the questions handy?

    Thanks :)

    Thank you Jayemadee.

For question no.25 I think that they are looking for the number of senior ministers who are the son or daughter of a former Fianna Fail TD.

I know for example that Mary Coughlans Dad was a former FF TD, as was Brian Cowens but after that I am unsure. Any further help would be appreciated.

  • Registered Users Posts: 958 ✭✭✭carolireland

I think the answer for the karaoke judge might be Kathleen Lynch. Any further help with no.25 would be appreciated. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 527 ✭✭✭Spike440

The karaoke is Kathleen Lynch TD.

    82 is Ted Walsh Jr.
85 is a reference to the return home of the English World Cup team.

Kelly Osbourne is odd one out having not appeared as a guest star in Glee.

2 sets of brothers - bertie and noel ahern / brian and conor lenihan / chris and barry andrews?????

From www.kansascity.com but don't know anything about its authenticity:
Of the year's 10 top-grossing films, only two - "Despicable Me" and Chris Nolan's "Inception" - were purely original: not sequels, remakes or adaptations.

Ok My last few - help a brother out :D

10 - Her great-grandfather was a coal miner. Her second cousin owns a chip shop in Durham in England
57 - Inception or Despicable Me. Donald could have made a booboo. Inception is definitely original but could Despicable Me be a rehash (of Annie maybe) in the manner that 10 Things I Hate About You is a rehash of The Taming of the Shrew.
65 - What minister keeps hens.
100 - unsure about this one - see above.

I think that it's most likely Chernomyrdin on two counts:
    (i) He was PM and the others were Presidents
(ii) The others were elected Presidents but Chernomyrdin was 'President for a day' while Yeltsin was having surgery.
