My presents give away my nerdy status.
I got that new Penguin anthology of Irish poetry, a book on John Roque's map of Dublin, an Avoca cookbook, a big box of pralines and a Penguin boardgame about books. NERD ALERT. My boyfriend got retro looking Star Wars t-shirts and graphic novels from me. Yay for nerd love.

Didn't ask for anything, my parents were quizzing me about e-book readers but it was all a long con.

Got an Xbox 250gb, Mass Effect 1&2, Fable 2, Call of Duty Black Ops, Christmas socks, aftershave and other toiletries and a bit of cash.

Was pleasantly surprised although a little suspicious with my 50 year old parents knowing exactly which games I'd pick if I was buying it myself...

    The shop-keeper must've helped them.

Perhaps, but I do most of my gaming on a PC and the parents know that. If a shop keeper did help them I surprised Mass Effect 1 & 2 were suggested as they've been out for ages, would have been more apt to pick Fallout: New Vegas or Assassins Creed II: Brotherhood etc

Anyway doesn't really matter, I'm chuffed either way! Christmas YAY!:D

From my parents I got 200 euro to buy my own prezzie. I have spent 40 euro on a brown (p)leather jacket and will spend the rest on an Ipod dock with good speakers. Any suggestions? Also got Benefit cheekblush. I'm v. happy!
Haven't opened OH's prezzie yet but as he hasn't a bean I am expecting (and couldn't care less if it is) something small. I have requested a travel mug/hot water bottle as I am always too late in the mornings to make coffee, and always cold. I got him an m-box/m-audio thing , so can't wait till it's finally delivered, he'll love it!

More Beano annuals, some resistance bands, dumbbells, under armour running shirts, IT Crowd DVDs, Karate Kid film collection. a lot of cash from relatives that I was not expecting. I did not ask for much this year so am feel very fortunate this year especially when there are many around me with so little.
