    You'll have less people using the SAM now that hardline is fixed. It should be increased to 5 maybe. Not a lot of people use it when I play thou.

    The SAM turret is absolutely brilliant imo, it means that people are able to stop the killstreaks a lot easier than used to be the case of running out like a tool and getting killed 5 times to take it down. You don't need any kills to take it down with Ghost pro so 4 kills is fine.

    The game shouldn't be about killstreak spawn killing but gun skill and if you are angry that people are taking defensive measures and not letting you kill them 5 times in a row before they can do anything its not really fair on them, I doubt you enjoy getting messed up by them?

    you dont need a turret to take down a CG, in tdm's if guys have mikes on we can take down a CG before it even opens its door, so no it is not to low a killstreak at all

    i hear and understand his frustration but the dude is way offline saying its ok for xbox, it is worse than ever.....
    Simple solution back out the last 2 patches, so the lag wont be anywhere near as bad and once in games you dont drop em that much, granted you take longer to fond a match but at least when you find it you can play it..
    The way it is now i can find em but they all are unbelievably laggy, connection interupted, everyone on green bars so it bumps you back to lobby.......
    I can live with the annoying glitches etc so long as the game is playable

    It's a complete joke. Why do developers insist these days to release a game when CLEARLY it's not ready to be released. My ps3 has frozen countless times because of Treyarch's mistakes. Not cool Treyarch, not cool...

    As a QA manager i'll give you my thoughts....

    1) to test this you need firstly to test each component... they didnt as easily seen by the Hardline pro rolling turrets... a simple 5 min test, should never have existed at launch... there are other examples

    2) Test connectivity across local LAN to get a baseline for performance

    3) Test across wireless network and compare to LAN

    4) test across providers and compare to step 2

    5) Use any 1 of a number of load and stress test tools... or in this case run multiple loads/stress from multiple machines from multiple locations to validate the volume handeling...
    Those 5 points were just a basic level of testing (not a full rundown of test)

    Now from what i can tell, they did step 2 and all had a party in the office for a few months playing the game...

    Now post launch you address the major issues first, in this case they addressed the little annoying things rather than the game breakers

    Just on this one,.... the decision to launch lies with Activision the publisher (and owner of Treyarch)
    AV did the same with MW2, they launched it before IW were ready and against IW's wishes, that was part of the reason the Original IW guys left and formed Respawn... so although Treyarch broke this, AV released it as was...

    Seems your in the minority just going from comments on here and from my mates on XBL. Not saying your wrong, just an observation.

    The majority, sorry the vast majority on PS3 are suffering and have been since the game was released. I can only imagine the **** storm if it was those on XBL on the receiving end more so of all this crap. Things would have been sorted out fairly promptly I have no doubt.

    As for the last part, care package glitch(MW2) or UFO glitch(COD4) ring a bell?

    Go to the Xbox section on callofduty.com and you will see thousands of complaints about connection and lag issues haven gotten worse since the patch, i managed 1 game in 1.5 hrs last night......

    What i was saying was YES MW2 had bugs but it was playable, the carepack glitch was annoying but you could still play against those guys,,, this game has lag to the level that last night i died and fell to the ground, then the gur ran around the corner and started shooting me.... Last night was the first in any game ever that the lag was that freakin bad... If i am host i have to leave a game, was in games where everyone had full green bars and we kept getting connection interupted and then would all be bumped out to the gamelobby... this is far worse that a carepack glitch or rock glitch.. those are annoying but don't make the game unplayable

    Like I said, I'm basing my opinion from lads here and IRL. Most of the people who post in the COD forum so I take no notice of that place. Plus the fact it seems to always crash whenever I'm on it. General consensus is that patch has done it's job. It's unfortunate your one who is suffering. It sounds like your going through what PS3 players in the main have been having to put up with for the past month and a bit.

    Re: annoying glitches -
    When capable players were using the Care package glitch, I'm sorry but it was not playable especially if you weren't in a party. I'll never forget one gaming particular on Highrise playing Sabotage. AC130's, chopper gunners, harriers, etc. galore. If you can deal with that on your own against some probably decent players, you must be one truly sensational and amazing player. The UFO(or God mode for some) Glitch is the single worst thing I've seen on consoles in regards to glitches, but I reckon from experience on this forum that many wouldn't have experienced it as MW2 was (unfortunately) their first COD game. Anybody who remembers that glitch will tell ya how bad it was at the time. It wasn't playable in the slightest

    I played MW2 a lot and only encountered the CP glitch a handful of times. That said I agree you could be truely screwed if you ran into glitchers. The problem with Bops is it can be unplayable all day long due to the connection errors/freezes.

    I played a few games yesterday after getting the patch and couldn't finish 90% of them. Strangely have had very few problems over weekends but during the week it's been pretty bad.

    Love the actual gameplay but Treyarch/AV shouldn't have shipped a broken product.

    i'm in Kilkenny so i am basing it on local lads i play with and we all get the same issue..
    What i have noticed on the cod site (and you are right that thing always crashes) is that since the patch the US guys are saying lag has improved but all the european guys, IRL, UK, Germany, Holland and sweden are all seeing worse issue..
    If i get a game when i have 2 yellow bars them i know i will go with a k/d of 4 or over for that game, but if i have full greens them i am FCuked

    myself and 5 of my friends found a game about 5 times without problems and while it's laggy, when has Cod not been laggy? It's the P2P connections more than anything else, connection interrupted is because the COD community for the most part are absolute dicks and don't stay for a game when they are losing and eventually the host leaves and this causes connection interrupted.

    I hate that I've paid 80 euro on a Beta.

    One thing I have noticed is that Search and Destroy is impossible to play because of host migration. I think it is because of all the rage quitting + the broken'ness of this game.

    Hardcore modes are a lot easier to play because people die when you shoot them.

    if the host goes to dashboard it ends the game without host migration

    NAT 2 is moderate AFAIK? NAT 1 is open

    Thats the whole point noone left our game, all 12 of us went back to the lobby, we were gettn the interupted for about 30 secs and got bumped

    Can someone explain why being host is now a disadvantage? During all the talk of MW2, all I ever remember was people talking about host advantage, and how much easier the game is when you are host. When I host a BlOps game it's much easier for me. Has this changed with BlOps? Why would two yellow bars make you confident that you would have a k/d of 4? Genuinely confused here.
