Simple curious question do you stay in contact remain "friends" with an ex or 3 ?? Provided i suppose the break up was on good terms or a joint decision, Or perhaps both parties still have a lot of respect for eachother & the relationship fizzled out but still remain friends
I know Simon Cowell stays in contact with a few of his ex lovers !!

For me i do remain friends with some of my former Squeezes thats as far as it goes. It drives my Fiancé crazy, So cant even be friends with them on FB im cool with it though dont want to start another row

    No.

It is "ex" for a reason. There is nothing left to say.

What an odd remark. One would imagine that, should one still possess all their apendages, one would continuously be in contact.

I do with some (one), I don't with others (also one).

It depends, if they were actually arseholearific, then no.

Yip, sure do. Good mates then, good mates now (in most cases).

No, I don't keep in touch with her.

She's an ex for a reason.

I keep in touch with two, I went out with both of them when I was very young and they're both friends with all my friends so it would be a bit petty of me to ignore them. :P They're really good friends, also.

Their heads are mounted on my wall, so yeah, I see them all the time.

Ive had 3 proper girlfriends. Im good friends with one, In fact she has been going out with my mate for a few years now :pac:. Another one i would always chat to when i see her without it being awkward but have zero interest in her sexually. The other one i havnt talked to or seen in years.

No. Did keep up with one for a while, but that was more because we had mutual friends than anything else. I don't see any reason why anyone should specifically try to keep up with their exes, the relationship failed for a reason, better off to just leave it most of the time.

    Depends on how it ends.

If it was a nasty ending (cheating, lies etc) ... then hell no. They aint no friend of mine.
If it was an ok break-up ... Yes and No. Most people tend to get on with their own lives and see an ex as the past.
In my experience post-relationship friendship tends to form when there are mutal friends & if not any mutual friends it tends to be they were still having sex after the breakup which just leaded towards the friends route.

Nope, but if Simon Cowell does it then I might give it a go.

Nope, seriously couldn't be arsed. Her friends on the other hand are good for inside info/gossip - shows they're not very good friends.

Last one is not too long over, she works in a clinic where I do a few hours, so there has to be professional contact, but she just had a very recent bereavement, so on those grounds I keep some contact.

I've stayed in contact with my last boyfriend. Partly cause I thought it was the mature thing to do, and partly cause I wanted him to take me back. Its turned out to be a bad idea on a few occasions.
