Have you tried logging out of PSN while playing single player? Improved it a bit for me.

The Elise on the Top Gear track is fuppin horrible. It's incredibly wishy washy, it feels like you're driving on ice and the rear just loves to spin out if you apply any amount of power. I really can't see how I'll win this race.

I haven't seen any weather effects or damage yet. Are these 'unlocked' or do they need to be 'turned on'?

Just once more..... that f*ckin' Elise on the Top Gear track- awful.

Going to make the game even better to play.

    Savage price.

On a side note, I F**king hate the Top Gear track challenges, VW Samba Buses??? Serious???

Ive managed to bronze it and was on course for a possible gold when I got disqualified half way through the 2nd Lap after getting leaned on by the VW in 3rd and pushing me into a cone on hammerhead :(

I have great fun in the Elise but I'll admit it is lunacy to drive.
They're there but the damage takes a serious whack to cause and the weather is only in some races

Haven't tried it yet and I find it shocking that I may have to do this on an ongoing basis.

Cool. That item can't be shipped from .com to here, and .co.uk seemed to be at original pricing so I'll check out the Frenchies.

Most of the stock MR cars are like that. The Lotus Europa was the only car I had to do the British Lightweight races. Did ok until I got to the Top Gear track. The corner before the Follow Through is a nightmare. The car really needs to be nursed around or its lights out.

The Ferrari 512B, fully modded, was a nightmare at Monza in the Pro Italian/Ferrari race whatever its called. I eventually won it. No amount of tinkering got rid of that pendulum effect. Anyone any ideas? It's probably becuase you cant fit a spoiler.

I bought a used Honda Civic first but I'd recommend doing the licences and building up some money to buy the Clio V6- it's a far better choice for a first car. I used the Civic for 2-3 races but have been using the Clio for the majority of them.

    This was my 1st car.

I assume the used car list is randomly generated? I've seen some cars in races that I'd wanted to buy but you only ever see a small number of cars in the used car area.

I miss how it was done in GT1.

Im bored of it already. Some serious flaws in the game.
They way you need totally different cars for each race and the fact that you have to race the same races again to get cash to buy the cars is really annoying. The way you have to search in the dealership is very badly done. The loading between areas is a joke. Its slow and boring. Glad I have f12010 cos I would be pissed off having paid alot for a wheel setup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,910 ✭✭✭Sisko

Well I'm finding it very fun anyway. I certainly don't find I'm low on cash in GT mode. I enjoy trying out so many different types of cars.
