I love Black Ops, i love how its balanced, love the guns etc... But man i was so close today to just drop kicking my tv out the window, and i love my tv.

Ever since that fecking patch, which is suppose to fix things, the game is almost unplayable, almost every game i get the "Connection Interrupted" crap or if its not that its the "Migrating Host" crap. Then there is the knife missing a guy right in front of me and then to see in the killcam that he was behind me when i was swinging at him. Or one second it only takes an instant to kill a guy then the next minute it takes a whole magazine.
Its so frustrating, just when the get the balance in the game right, they screw it up with this baloney.

Haven't had a problem with the split screen on the PS3 so far. Played it the whole day with my mate on Sunday and was grand except sometimes framerate slowing down but that only happened once or twice. Only problem with the split screen is that the second player can't log into his own account.

I'm on xbox as well and have had a ton of problems. It was very laggy last night again. It really is infuriating.
I am on a wireless connection though. I'm not sure how much improvement hardwiring it would make though. MW2 never really had that much problems with my connection.

What needs to go/change...

Second Chance, not because they can shoot me while im on the ground, but because i ****ing know it takes longer to kill someone who actually uses the perk. Feels like im shooting a guy with Juggernaut on. During that falling animation he can take extra bullets and once he reaches the ground pose you need another bullet to finish him off! GOD!!

People who use the Galil better than me should be banned. This gun has killed me more than any other gun in the game im sure of it. And when i watch the killcam they use the gun so effortlessly, so im like "Give me some of that Galil action" and i suck with it!! GOD!!

People who use Ghost, UAV, a Galil with a Silencer and camp should be BANNED!! Jesus christ this set up is a nightmare for me and frustrates me more than anything in this game. Sometimes i have to turn the Xbox off when im in a lobby with more than one of these bastids. Silencers need to be nerfed. I dont use them on any of my guns as i cant use them cause im an idiot but they need to lessen the damage of the gun or some ****e. I think when you attach them it shows the "Range" meter dropping by once square. What?! What ****ing range?! All bullets go on forever after being shot bar Shotguns. What Spaz (get it) is going to put a silencer on a fooking shotgun? I run the blackbird killsteak because of Ghost Silencer Galil users.

So yeah thats about it. I would like to be able to change kill steaks mid game ala changing classes. Would be a nice addition. Maybe tie your killsteak loadout to your class or something. Only reason this would be nice for me would be to change from UAV (which i always run) to RC-XD just to kill those bloody Ghost Silencer Galil users! GOD!

Im the same with the Gailil, i get killed by it a lot, from all kinds of situations, long range, short range, from the hip etc... but when i use it its ****e. May have to give it another go soon.
Disagree about silencers, they definitely make a gun weaker, i have it on my AUG and when im in Nuketown i take it off and the gun is way more powerful. Its one aspect im really pleased with actually, cause in MW2 the silencers just made guns completely useless.

Those fecking little cars are starting to annoy me. I think you can stack them and people do that during a game, then just hide somewhere and use them all, drives me insane when i hear them coming, they always seem to ignore everyone and come for me.
That chopper gunner which can still shoot you inside a building, ridiculous.

Yeah, and nothings worse when the "Connection Interrupted" crap pops up just when the game is over, at the score table, its just ridiculous and extremely frustrating.

It s like as if its banging off the edge of the maps and bounces you over to the other side, as far as i know its a known glitch , like the one with the valkerie rockets where it explodes in your face.

All the problems that have been going on the last few weeks for me are mostly around lag and connections etc. I have been really enjoying the gameplay. I loved the balance. I loved the lack of quick-scoping, I loved the lack of an over abundance of noobtubes (The cars or no where near as bad/annoying).... I loved that killstreak reward kills dont add to killstreaks etc etc.


But, last night it all changed. First time I have actually willingly turned off the game because of gameplay rather than connection issues.

I played about 6/7 games. All of them very unbalanced. Almost every game there was one guy who was ridiculously good, the rest balanced. i.e. games were finishing very quickly, with one guy on 30 kills (after two chopper gunners) and maybe 1/2 deaths... the next closest about 8/9 kills.

And how were they achieving this? Well firstly I'd say obviously they are good. I mean, they were very quick and accurate. They would likely have won the game no matter what, but there "knack" if you will, was jumping around.
I was watching this guy thinking...WTF is this ****... Did I fall into a game of Halo or what? He wasn't the only one doing it by any means.... it seems to be getting popular. So there I am, running around.... one guy I meet drop shots (which I don't mind, it makes sense), the next is Jumping up and down like a fcking frog (which I do mind, and it does not make sense).
Oh, and then came the queen..... this guy went around pirouetting like a ballerina. 360s while jumping up and down..... and killing all round him.

I've no idea how this helps them, I don't care to know. People will say things (as they did for QS) like , well... it's not easy to master is it. Why don't you learn to do it... then you can do the killing... etc etc. But all that would result in is another person ruining the game of cod.

These games are not meant to be simulations, but they are meant to be somewhat realistic. Exaggerated, but realistic. I have no interest in playing a game where guys running around shooting each other are jumping up and down and twirling in order to get a better score. It's really sad and stupid*. It's why I always hated Halo (which 90% of my friends loved). But it's much worse to see it in COD. I really thought Blops had gotten rid of this ****e.


So... if this continues and becomes popular, I'm dumping COD. I dont know what other game I'll go to. I've never actually played any other multiplayer war game (baring halo), so haven't a clue if anything else comes close.
Note: I like the simplicity of FFA, not looking for hugely strategic war battles or anything. What are my options (on xbox)?


Anyway, that's about it. I know it's only my opinion, but I really dont understand why good players would resort to this crap. It's embarrassing.
