Sorry OP the pinnacle of fried food is battered cod drowned in vinegar with salty chips. Some dinner!

    Sheep's stomach and offal.
If it's so nice why does no other country eat it ?
And Scots only eat it to be more Scottish. Not for the taste. :pac::pac:

Sure - the working class love them. Same as Brown Sauce (not to be ignorantly confused with YR) and 3 in 1s.

Brown sauce is minging and three-in-ones are four-in-ones for pussy vegetarian hippies.

I've only ever had one batter burger and it was fine. I'd prefer a bag of chips soaked in delicious sodium chloride and acetic acid. :pac:

It's a given that a batter-sausage is the pinacle of deep fat fried food, but there's their ugly bastard cousin always sitting there next to them on the counter. I never see anyone order them, outside of drunk students pretending to be scangers to their mates for a laugh and yet they must sell because they're always available.

I had a batter burger with my Italian other half, she liked it. She wouldn't eat one again mind.

Whirly burger is the pinnacle of chipper induced heart attacks.

Spice Burgers are also delicious, but very dependent on what chipper you get them in.

I had a burger with a fried egg inside a pineapple ring on top of the burger. Ah to be young and foolish again.

Staple diet of night outs in student years .. I always asked if they would throw in a few chips too.

Prefer garlic mushrooms though .. washed down with a decent pint of Guinness. AHHH!

i love batter burgers. considering leaving the office at lunchtime to get one.

i also love battered mushrooms but these are the more rare variety of battered food and can only be founded in certain establishments..

portion of battered mushrooms and a portion of onion rings for the walk down town to the nitelink. oh it takes me back.

I love them, but at 30 years of age and going to the gym most days I don't eat too many of them.

Had one on the way home when drunk last week.

Or was that a spice burger?

Can't remember but they were on special offer in the chipper. So I got that and a big bag of chips and 2 sausages and a quarter pounder with cheese. Oh and a coke. And as I stumbled home I got to eating and to thinking.

And let me tell you when you've got greasy, salty hands and ketchup and burger sauce all over your face you really do come up with some world-killers in terms of realisations.

So I was scoffing down the end of my street feast, licking the last remnants of ketchup from the inside of the bag and trying to open my front door at the same time when it hit me. I suddenly knew what I'd been doing wrong all these years. At that moment I knew how I could fix everything, heal the world make it a better place for you and for me and the entire human race.

I raced into the house to tell my housemate, tripped on the rug in the sitting-room, went over the couch and smacked my head off the coffee table.

I came to the next morning in a greasy heap on the sitting-room floor and couldn't remember for the life of me what that thought was.

Actually wait it was a spice burger I had, not a batter burger.

So no OP, to answer your question, I don't like batter burgers. It's spice burgers or nothing for me.

Quite like batter burgers but their not a patch on batter sausages, both taste best when you have curry to dip them into

I wouldn't have them all the time. I'd have to be really in the humour for one, but when I do get them I love them.
