There's a mistake in the above article it says :
Mr Prendeville -- who earns €150,000-plus per annum from 96FM -- has admitted that he felt suicidal in the wake of the coverage of the incident.
    It should say:
Mr Prendeville -- who used to earn €150,000-plus per annum from 96FM -- has admitted that he felt suicidal in the wake of the coverage of the incident.

"OH No, Nurofen + are suing me for €100,000,000.00 why was I so stupid to think I could get away with that one?"

A certain Cork DJ was alleged to have said.

I said it in the Cork thread that the drug company will be looking into those comments. Such comments could reduce their sales rapidily.

I am VERY surprised his solicitor mr Keane allowed him to blame the drugs. Any law student would even know that was asking for trouble.

Yep Nick you are right. However many would think that law students, the legal profession and the legal eagle keeno have much in common with the bould Shock Jock Neil P and that is that they are all W***KERS.

If this idiot ever has a career in radio after this incident, well the people of Ireland deserve what they get.

This guy should be buried without trace as far as radio is concerned.

    1. Can you just imagine his first morning back in the air and his cummly assistant on hearing Neil crying sayz "Neil boy whatz up" and to which he replies it's ok, I'm just OVERCUM! and then they cut to a few bars of one of Neils favourite ditties "CUM FLY WITH ME"!! 2. Remember that there is still one card that legal beagle keeno must be holding up his sleeve for Neil P's defence and yes you guessed it, its a singing MASS card! Yea dats right, you open the card and you hear the congregation all singing "WE SHALL OVERCUM" WE SHALl OVERCUM" and dtaz GOSPEL!!

Perhaps after the success of the Ryanair campaign Neil P could consider a campaign with Bancock Airways, Its a perfect fit!

What would you do if this happened to you? I'd probably move to South America and grow a beard.

...but after a while, you'd notice looks, and hear, as you left the local bar, 'Si!!...El Wankero'.....

Some rumours are doing the rounds that Neil and the female press journo were flirting on the plane and he wanted her to do the stroking

Has the Cork spanker returned to work yet or is he still hiding away in Keans underground sex dungeon?

I'd have thought an excuse to pull your plum in public would bolster sales.

Stupid* hysterical article in the Sindo, that probably resulted from a brain storming session as to how to bring it up again 'from a new angle...'

City struggles to repair damage of DJ's inflight antics

Neil Prendeville's bizarre behaviour was a disaster for his native Cork, writes Ralph Riegel

    http://www.independent.ie/national-news/city-struggles-to-repair-damage-of-djs-inflight-antics-2419413.html

    (*overblown, exaggerated, nonsensical, embarrassing)

A disaster was last years flooding, the damage of which is not all repaired, apparently....

No let up on this story, seems Gerald Kean has stirred up a hornets nest with conflicting stores about memory loss. the indo also revealed today that the dj spent a few days in Keans home in wicklow after the story broke.

Rather unfortunate if not apt photo caption in the Sunday tribune today!

Perhaps Aer Lingus will insist on such a device next time this clown travels! LOL

Actually it's been great for Cork. Many hilarious jokes have been made at the guys expense cheering people up in these gloomy times.

And anyway despite his shows popularity there are a lot of people who dislike the guy.

With Lisa Murphy about the house, one could forgive poor neil excusing himself on a few occasions!

Its interesting how this PR bull**** is beginning to make sense, Firstly Neils contacts, Wife who is editor of a hilariously ridiculous society rag, Barry Ego who's good buddies of Gerald Kean and then Kean himself. Collectively they have made a complete bollox of themselves.

I thought high society comprised those people so filthy rich as to not actually need to work. Only in Ireland could a talkshow host on a regional radio station be "high society".
