    I find normally that cannon rushers are so slow getting zealots up.

    I knew that marauders own cannons, and they own zealots and they dominate stalkers so with a rush like that I tend to settle back, rack up some marauders and then steam roll which I did nicely :)

    Starport was incase he gathered some sneaky void rays :)

    As a protoss player myself I'll give my 2c, this advice may not be entirely correct mind you.


    First pylon ALWAYS at 9 supply, you built at 10 therefore supply blocking yourself.

    I wouldnt wall off in PvP. Only in PvZ do I wall off.

    Don't use a pylon in your wall as well. They are very easily taken down. Also spread out your pylon more so your covering multiple building with their fields. If he pushed and took out that one pylon at your ramp, all your gates are down. Bad situation for you.

    Always build probes at the start unless your going for a chessey build. Transfer probes from your main to natural as soon as its built and continue building probes off BOTH nexus' (nexi?).

    Build more gateways. At least 3 per base mining is okay guidelines imo. Always be producing from them. Otherwise they are a waste. 'Y' is the hot key (in grid) for all available warpgates.

    Nice micro with the stalkers and colosi. Some of his retreating is awful :confused:

    Same with with your next expo, transfer probes and build way more probes!! Your natural is only half saturated. His economy was miles better the entire game.

    Thanks man, had a look again at it and there was some silly mistakes like building probes and ****

    That seems to be my main problem, cant shake wc3 mode, keep forgetting about workers ;O

    Not a great replay but I was happy with it.

    Bronze level TvT on jungle basin

    Both of us went for drops. He got in first and did better than me. I lost my expo,he had to retreat his main CC. Next minutes spent trying to rebuild. At one point at approx 18 minutes he had double the income of me. Though I was about to get floored. However I dropped, retreated, dropped at 22 minutes in and wiped him. So happy for me.


    Critiques welcomed and needed.

    Am settling on this rax, gas, factory, rax, gas, starport, rax build. Seems to let me get troops up early, get a drop or 2 in while I try to get to siege tech.

    For RM...

    PvZ not PvT but the build is roughly the same. Fast aggressive 3G into expo into tech path, in this case 6g robo into a third. Timing is a bit off since I took 3rd and 4th gasses and made a robo but still eliminates muta pressure. I delay colossi/HT in lieu of getting a third up fast.

    thats actually really good, quite alot of damage from those 5 stalkers, surprisingly enought, really durable vz zerglings...

    its prety much 4-6 gate pus :D

    Seems mad that he decided to expo into your main with only a single gateway to back it up (I have been rushed with 3 gateways in my natural on Delta Quadrant. With 3 up I couldn't keep him contained) If this guy had of built 2 gateways rather than the nexus in your main he could have keep you boxed into your natural.

    I do too. Seems mad that he went for 6 gate then played very passive. His first attack was terrible, he had more troops than you but by splitting them up he allowed you to defeat them seperately, and his retreat to your backdoor was 'strange'. I thought he was going to sent more troops to your front bur they jusy stayed at home. I really liked your micro to take out the zealots before going in with the stalkers. As a non-protoss player I would also suggest building more gateways early.

    I'm sure you will get the marco very quickly. Looking at your opponent I think it shows how having a good build doesn't make you a good player. He had a better build than you, (at one point the unit count was 79 to 51). He was well ahead of you in economy but didn't know what to do with it. You were aggressive and pushed him back,

    Just played a BM Terran player who bunker rushed me. He vastly over-estimated how much it'd set me back and got wtfpwned for his ignorance. With the obligatory rage quit of course.

    I hate people like that. Best to not just talk to them. He also started building a ghost academy when you were moving forward with your roaches haha

    And two tech labs on his barracks. Yeah you want marauders, but two marines aren't going to hold off 8 roaches no matter how much you want them to.

    Check out minigun's stream on teamliquid

    I think he is the number 1 or 2 American player on ladder

    Protoss, plays very calm and steady, not some crazy 300 apm spam clickfest, just very solid - when he builds up the stalkers, sentries, Collosus, templars he is pretty much unstoppable - very very cool micro in the battles, uses spells to great effect

    Heres another one for feedback, was pretty epic to play in, I nearly GG'd three times, ended up winning.

    This would be a typical game of mine, early pressure going well, feel comfortable, expand, and then all of a sudden I loose it.

    Feedback welcomed as always :)

    I watched it on quite a fast speed so i didnt notice much but the only thing that massively stood out for me was when he took out your expo. You sent your probes to your unknown gold expo right past him letting him know that it was there. I would have just pulled them back into the main and used them to fight off his attack

    Yeah, at that point I was a bit stressed and I was pretty much in the GG mood, I was panicing big time, thats why I took that gold expo, to just get something up :)

    I just finished a mad game on Blistering Sands, it felt positively epic: ok, my macro was bad, ditto the injecting & possibly had worse scouting & yet despite that I somehow managed to win the game.

    I should have GG'ed after he (non cloak) Banshee rushed me, but stuck at it. I think 15 Hatch saved me.

    Interesting game. Mass, mass void rays from Protoss. We're talking 20+ or so. I had mass Hydra. He should have won but was too passive with his VRs and let me macro up too much.

    Still an interesting game imho.

    just played a 2v2.

    i went zerg, ally went terran.
    enemy were both random, and they got toss / zerg.

    i scouted early enough, but the enemy toss cheese'd it. he took out my ally's base with help from a mazz ling / zealot army.

    my ally didnt quit! oh no! he lifted off, and we ****in raped them! hillarious mistakes by them. and i think i did pretty well to counter everything!

    have to admit, it was touch and go for ages. 2v1 for a long time.

    and we won! epic win i think.

    Nice replay. Shows how you can recover form an early setback. The zerg enemy wasn't great though. A few zergling roaming the map could have stopped you partner setting up again.

    I was aching to see a medivac drop onto the mineral line of the protoss enemy. His base was empty. Once you took out his proxy gates ye had it won.


    Is that a blizzard map, couldn't see it.

    Edit: I second the below. My mate is better at offense than me so I often let him 'take' some of my units and head off while I macro.

    Share units in 2v2.. insist on it

    If you get cheesed and wiped out, then you can control your teammates army while he macros - have won a good few games this way.. is crazy
