they will have to take it out imo, it looks like a joke from the videos i've seen. In COD every gun has autoaim and can kill from across the map, even SMGs. The one gun that took skill to use has been messed up seemingly to make it easier for Marathon/lightweight guys to run out in the open. They'll realise that in their attempts to make it balanced that they've ruined the most enjoyable weapon in the game. I don't exclusively use the sniper but the longer MW2 wore on I used it more and more and tbh, the game would've gotten soo boring without it.

You can't even have private QSing matches anymore which was probably the most fun thing to do in both COD 4 and MW2.

Honestly, doesn't surprise me. I mean its treyarch, I'm not a fanboy between IW and Treyarch, but a look back through history reveals alot. COD3 and WAW weren't great games. Not received well at all, I don't expect much from the single player, I'm hoping the multiplayer is good.
What really annoys me is the huge amount of people that bash COD:MW2 and it was the community's fault IMO. I mean, it got abused, I can see it happening again.
I just can't stand people bashing IW and praising treyarch after the whole thing that was the Jugg MP40, that made me leave that game so quick.

I seen a tweet earlier from aMOODIEsweede were he basically said to JD_2020 that they need to fix quickscoping to bring it to a somewhat useful state and he said JD's opinion doesn't matter since he whored the mpjugg in WAW. I see where hes coming from in fairness.

All in all, I haven't hyped this game like I did before, and cause of that I won't be let down, regardless, I'll play till game for a long time it seems.

Also, if my post seems abusive/sarcastic I'm sorry, dunno if does, but I don't mean to, just in case it seems like that.
Hope I meant you online sometime(xbox?:p)

**EDIT**: I'm sorry, I thought your spolier said 7.5, regardless, my post still stand to the IW bashers. Again, I'm sorry cherryghost if my post appears abusive/sarcastic.

why because now the good players who play with a gun that you actually have to aim wont be able to kill you? I'd love to see what would happen if when you aimed in on an M16 or UMP (in MW2) and the bullet didn't go straight...

Better yet actually, take autoaim off all the guns, not just the one that the majority of the skilled players use.

I'll be getting Black ops and Red dead Redemption. And I'm way more excited about Red Dead Redemption. Black ops is for fan boys into guns and multiplayer. I'll pick up and play it and enjoy it but won't be ranting about sniper scopes or God knows what else people are ranting about. It's just a game, cool stuff. Let's play.

The MP5 /w Silencer and steady aim is too good. A guy just got a search round winning kill from about 50 yards across the map with it.

Thank **** quickscoping is back to the way it was in COD4. Was sick of it in mw2 every lobby you went kids using snipers quickscoping and if you killed them with a ar or smg you would get abused. Sick of being on a team with quickscopers too ****ing negative much!!!

Yes, but in my eyes IW sold out on the PC community which made the COD series what it is, so i've moved to the IW bashing camp. At least Treyarch are seemingly trying.

it's nothing like in COD 4. If it was I wouldn't have a problem with it because it was perfect in COD4. It's not like a sniper now. An AK74u will probably be more accurate than a sniper with what they've done to it.

Yeah, I've seen the videos for it, a lot to get excited about, know what to expect. I guess not knowing what to expect in Black Ops might be a good thing, too. But I have a bad feeling that things will move too fast and the best part of it will be multi-player which I won't have access to.

Dude I agree, but what comes first is that Activision have a input before each developer, with everything going on I think they decided to get rid of DS for MW2, which was OBVIOUSLY stupid but thats what happens, I think the backlash forced them to change their mind. With that said, I may be wrong, but I don't see any reason for them to take away DS in all fairness. It was foolish but I 100% agree that IW didn't have full ownership over what went out in the end.
Its clear that they overruled a lot of stuff, apparently COD4 was meant to have another map pack before WAW, and WAW was meant to have another before MW2 -- I think. I can't say for sure but I think I remember reading that.

But I don't disagree that Treyarch look after their game better than IW, but I still can't forgive the fact they failed to fix the mp40.

It's way better with what they've done...I'm just going on youtube players but it looks like cod4 sniping to me.

Snipers might actually have to think about how the play now and be more cautious instead of carrying around one like an smg. :pac:

Love Nuke Town great little map and the good thing is that you can vote to play it again and again if both teams vote or else pick the next map and there is a random option,

the aim was never off-set in COD 4. Have you seen the video i posted in the Qsing thread? it's an absolute joke.

I wouldn't worry about it tbh.

I think the PC's will be fine with Treyarch in control, and the power that the PC community has with everything, I wish I was a PC gamer but I'm not. PC players strive on the DS, they always do, and I'm so jealous of that. But I wouldn't worry about it, I envy you Sod'o swords

Well over the past few years i've seen Console gaming go from being a 52k cable in the back of play station to what it is now. Console gaming has come on leaps and bounds and soon the community will mature, well maybe not so soon, but it will mature and be on par or close enough to the PC community.

So you won't have to be jealous much longer
