Im sure it would be, you would be driving "without due care and attention" and could be prosecuted under the Road Traffic Act 1961 for careless driving (section 52) or worse dangerous driving (Section 53). Which would lead to points a fine and possibly a ban.

Im sure you'd be fine if you had someone else do it for you

just make sure you are doing it with your hand down your pants and that they are baggy pants. Last thinkg u want in event of accident is emergency workers cutting you out of your car with your chopper hanging outside your pants. Also you may need to have a posh **** to avoid spilling your baby juice over your clothes or car but beware, in event of an accident you will be discovered wearing a rubber by the emergency workers/A&E docs/nurses. Logistically its a nightmare and dangerous so just never ever jerk and drive.
