Look, its not a little thing.
Its a thread about bench press. Powerlifters (and L) have posted on the matter. Powerlifters actually compete at bench pressing. One guy is a 3 times national champion powerlifter, he knows a thing or two about benchin, and is not a bodybuilder (vaguely debatable).

    1) High5 for that L comment
    2) It was actually 4 :D:D:P
    3) Hey shut up I like my abs!!

Is it wrong that i'm kind of proud of being classed as an entirely seperate entity?

Your technique is not totally bad but it could be a lot better.

I've not read the thread but your feet should be solid and also whilst it's great to get the weight up it should not take 20 seconds to do 1 rep that is mortgaging your shoulders for no gain imo.

I am also not a fan of your increments - how you approach a 1rm is vital - have to big a jump in weight and you will not get as much from things as you could. 10% jump from 100-110 is quite a lot, better maybe 100-105-110.

Stick at it - you are young and with good advice and training things will happen.

Nice gym btw - where in Carlow is this?

Looks great. Wish my gym had such a decent cage as seen on his squat video.

FTR & BTW your squats are much better albeit a tad high - the spotter is useless imo but your increments are much smaller on the squat than on the bench even though you are using a much heavier weight.

You need to lower the safety bar on your squat rack. They are too high and preventing you from breaking parallel and performing a full squat.

As has been said several times. You need to knock some kgs off your lifts and focus on correct technique and form. Don't be disheartened though as you're clearly a strong guy, just don't get caught up on the numbers you're lifting (for a short while anyway!).

From what I gather you are a sprinter, but if you want to find out what your real 1rm are in the squat and bench (and deadlift) just enter the IDFPA nationals next year.

To prepare for this watch your videos again and be brutally honest with yourself...

Thanks thats why I put up my video, it not to show. Somthing I get useless comments like it bad or whatever but I get no reason. That is why I post here, most of the people here have good rep.

I have tried some advice on this side and I ended up injured. Some advice works great.
