Confidence does not automatically make you correct or in any way less arrogant. He's the quintessential example of an arrogant atheist.

You're thinking of the Catholic Church. You cannot judge all religions and form a conclusion on them through your limited knowledge of one.

Damage? No. People with a maligned view of their religion damage the world in which they live. Take the RCC for example, you could not say that the priests involved in the abuse scandals were practicing their faith.

im not religous in the slightest. but it always amuses me when the militant athiests come out and try to force their opinions down peoples neck even though they give out about the churches doing the same. its always "the "theres no evidence that theres a god" argument too even though they overlook the fact that theres no proof that theres not either. i think that makes me agnostic does it?
