    Sure they may have closed down a fair percentage of them but does anyone stop to think where their left over stock went? Me thinks straight onto the streets because as a nurse in a detox unit I'd def say we're having to pick up the pieces unfortunately :-(

    The very idea that closing headshops was going to eliminate or alleviate drug consumption in any way is clearly absurd.

    Quite clearly the left over stock was passed on to someone who could shift it and will be sold through the usual channels.

    Good thing about headshops closing:

    You could buy mephedrone for cheaper on the streets as the dealers clearly just bought up the stock from the shops with much fewer overheads..
    It's ok buying mephedrone when you know that's what it is and what to expect,

    but bad thing...

    Dealers being dealers eventually started mixing the mephedrone into MDMA and other powdered forms and trying to flog them off as such to maximise profits selling substandard crap...what a surprise!

    So no surprise we are stills seeing the effects of head shop stuff in hospitals as stated by Northern lights etc.

    Yeah there gone, only in Ireland could drugs be sold legally that are more dangerous to your health physically and mentally then actual cocaine, hash or E

    But thank god there being sold now by good auld fashioned drug dealers and can be bought alsongside your standard bag of gear at a street corner near you
