FF will be down on the the last election but significantly up on the opinion polls. ie their next election results will be alot better than current opinion polls

Sadly I think they will get a lot more than 20%!

I won't be surprised to see them stay in government!

Good to see the Green Party are holding their own, with one vote.

Shocking to see so many people vote for FF. They probably say, "ah sure who else is there?" Your lives are gonna be truly hurt for the next God knows how many years because of them. I'm going for Fine Gael. They're not perfect (George Lee situation, pro Lisbon Treaty, leadership debacle) but they're a whole lot believable than FF.

it would be worse if the lying thieving bullies FG got in....you have to do what they say or when they are in power they'd get you fired

Well not ff anyway... I would need to see what the parties policies were for fixing this mess.
Tempted to get a form for them to sign when they come to the door with their false promises, stating what they will do (not their intentions) about this that and the other.

The funny thing is, FF will get the majority of the vote. People really haven't a clue.

    Sorry!

Its the old stock FF and their offspring, that will vote FF again and again.

I really hope they get destroyed in the next election, and that its 20 years* before they get into government again!!!

*Never would be preferable but we have to be realistic

That's all well and good, except voting for nobody is what the majority of this country does already.

In fairness, with so much of Irelands 'wealth' in bed with Fianna Fail, I think they've a very good chance at winning the next election.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

WTF? Sure isn't that the way, governments deliberately putting half the work force out of a job for no reason. That'll sort everything

And I think a vote for Labour, is a vote for FF too, just my opinion (/guards face), but I think they will form a coalition with FF for the next government.

This is just scaremongering. There is no way Labour will go into Government with the eFFers.

Anyone who spouts this line is just scared ****less of the gains Labour are going to make at the next election.

I really doubht Labour would go into Govt. with FF.
And FF would never go into govt. with Labour.

Well I don't want be accused of scaremongering, and certainly don't want Labour to go into government with FF, or anyone to go into government with FF.

It has been mentioned in the media a few times that its a possibility. The Greens for example said they wouldn't go into Government with FF, and they went right in, no problemo to them!

I don't care who forms the next government, as long as FF are in opposition and stay there for a very long time.

I see FF have 13 votes now! Shocking.

More shocking is the greens have two votes. Who knew that John Gormless and Paul "fuck you" Gotofuck were on boards.

But seriously do those that voted for Labour really think that they can win a seat in every constituencyand two in every one that they have a seat in already  There is no way that is going to happen. Why? They do not have a a traditional support base outside their urban bases and two - people are stupid and will still vote for FF wheter they be urban or rural

Say what you like about the Greens but at least Gogarty had the balls to come on boards to answer questions. He failed miserably but at least he tried. That's more than any of the other shameless bastards in FF would ever do.

I would seriously hope that the events of the past 2 years or so would mean that Irish people will get over that age old habit of voting for Fianna Fail just becasue they always did. Yes I am aware there will always be gombeens who will vote for them no matter what but I am talking about the majority of people who have seen this country destroyed before their eyes by FF government policy.
How long will it take for FF to prove to the Irish people they can ever be trusted with power again?

wheres the attari jaguar option?, if ever there was a genuine time for it.

FF and their faithful supporters don't give a shíte about the country, they only care about their bank accounts. As long as FF protect their supporters from this recession they will vote them back in again.

You do realise that FF's supporters were John and Jane Public? They didn't get re-elected repeatedly by a circle of a few hundred developers and bankers.

I think Sinn Fein or Socialist are the only ones with the balls to tackle those problems.

    Not even Labour would...
