    Was hoping for a load of points yesterday because I had Fabregas as my captain. Fecker wasn't even on the subs bench. :mad:

    Three players tonight in Man U v Newcastle will hopefully get me some more points though.

    Gwan Reina and Rooney is all I have to say, my last hopes for this week. Went down like 3 places :(

    How do fantasy leagues work? I heard loads of talk about them during the world cup, but I never really understood how they work.

    You pick 11 players from different teams to make your own team. When they play real life they are given a number of points depending on how they play in real life. The person with most points end of the season.

    Basically yeah, you can't afford to buy all the good players, so you have to buy bad ones too.

    I wouldn't necessarily say "bad" players.. Any time I've played fantasy football (and I've done pretty well for the most part), I've managed to have a pretty damn good team. It's really about knowing the type of team a player is most effective against, and knowing when to take them out of your team. You can get a brilliant team for the number of units available to you once you know most teams inside out.. Then again, I'm aware that people aren't bothered knowing everything about every team other than the one they follow, so I might just be a tad weird. >_<

    Oh, and also knowing a bargain when you see one! Yakubu was AMAZING back in the day, and I got him for a pittance. Oh his end-of-season four goals way back when!

    3 out of my 4 subs have broken either a leg or an ankle and my sub keeper's injured too.:mad:

    From now on I will be posting up the scores of the league on a weekly basis. It is done for the MMA fantasy league and works well, so I will start doing it here.
