Steady aim is your friend. Combine with akimbo and you'll never be scared of a riot shielder again. Only problem is the range is relatively low.

If people want to play TDM then join a TDM match, dont join a domination game!! Was playing Dom last night and every single person on my team....and I mean every single one was camping and made no effort to get the flags! We ended up getting beaten 200-55 and all 55 was because of me. Its so annoying!

they've got a lovely bit of range even when akimbo without steady aim . i forgot to take off ninja pro for most of one night and used them well enough anyway

The G18 is difficult to use when you have just one. That's why it's best to limit it on the maps that you use. It's suited to maps such as Skidrow and Sub-base where there are plenty of corners for you to surprise someone/sneak up on someone.
Once you have Akimbo unlocked the G18s take on a whole new lease of life- they are hilarious to use. There is nothing like running into someone and unleashing 2 G18s at full tilt. I have been cursed many times.

1 G18 is a pain in the behind. 2 G18s are some of the best fun you can have in MW2. Be careful where you use your G18 and once you unlock Akimbo they are fantastic in tight spaces.

For some reason I like the single mini-famas over the akimbo. I prefer the akimbo glocks just for the lol factor and cos my aim is poor. Who needs aiming with the G18s?

I've just been emp'd,all electronics are down,damn you esb and your maintenance couldn't get me usual game in before work or do anything for that matter,no tea no food,bad day all round

One day there was routine electrical cuts for maintenance in my area, I went over to a mates to play Mw2. He asked me when I wasn't on, I said "EMP, all electronics are down"

It wouldn't have been so bad in the evening,I do have a far better connection between 12 and 3 than any other time.even lost my host virginity the other day,couldn't believe the range on the spas,I suppose it does make a difference when your actually hitting someone and not just grazing them because they aren't really there anymore

Hi, first time poster here.

I usually play mtdm because I hate getting stuck on a team when the oppostion are all buddies who camp.

The other night I played a bit of team deathmatch express because I was annoyed waiting for a minute between games. Anyway I started playing it and the first map that came up was Rust, I was put in a team and the opposition where a clan. Countdown 5.4.3.2.1 straight away a grenade lands at my feet without time to move and it kills me and some other guy on my team. The whole other team were using RPGs, THUMPERS, GREANDES and GRENADE LAUNCHERS (sorry I can't bring myself to use the word noobtube) and everyone of them had danger close on. It was a joke you could barely move without an RPG wizzing about 20 foot by your head and killing you, the final score was something like 7500 to 2000. I was so pissed off I left the lobby straight after the game and went back to mtdm.

This is really good advice. I'm off smokes 9 months and I still twist pads in half playing this game. I always have at least one spare now although the L2 button has stopped working on one which has caused some stupid deaths. Try storming a room when you only think you threw in a flash!

I can identify with that, especially since cracking a two-month old joypad in frustration. I am by no means a great player - I simply don't have the time to practise, so I can accept that many people will simply be better than me, through natural ability or more time spent playing the game. Yet, on Sub-Base a few minutes ago, I must have emptied half a magazine (using Scar-H) into an enemy; not only was there no hit recognition, but of course when he/she eventually fired back, I was killed immediately. Ironically, my strong point in the game is accuracy.

Being repeatedly pitted against people who seem to virtually live on MW2 is bad enough, but lag issues make the experience even worse.

Of course, I still love it!

playing mtdm and after a discussion in college today, i decide to finally attempt to get a nuke. the map is wasteland, the opposing team is ****. get my first kill with the turret trick and then built up to harriers with my scar. drop the harriers, they get a few kills and i get a few with my gun. chopper gunner. most of em are using cold booded but by the end of the run i'm at 23-0. kills are fast approaching 7000 so i'm running areound frantically looking for guys to kill. i come around the corner of the hedge with the cars, by that little hut near the church. there's a guy squatting down hiding with noobtubes watching the corner. bang, i'm dead.

Just got killed 14 times on underpass,not once by a bullet,one from a claymore the rest just bull**** with danger close or commando.on the plus side one lad off our team gave me the best laugh in ages,we got emp'd and this idiot in the most cockney accent I ever heard"there's something wrong with my facking telly"he then proceeded to start banging on his telly cursing like a maniac,emp ended"ah that's got it"at which point I was incapable of holding the controller from laughing,pity he was the only one with a mic on.

Guy had a noobtube in Quarry, up by the A flag I think. I run out the door from the warehouse with the tank in it, he shoots the noobtube and I die. I see in killcam that it exploded off of the power line above me and he didn't have dc on :mad:

All I seem to come up against lately are twats who run around with their Pro-Pipes open and ready to fire. Obviously pissed off the game doesn't have an easy mode so they made their own :mad:

Also myself and Cossax were spawn trapped in highrise last night in a game of TDM. It was woeful, couldn't get out for most of the game.

That was bad enough only for the opposition team to rage in the lobby about us camping for the whole game. I tried to explain to him the concept of a spawn trap but they just didn't get it

Did we not win that? I recall breaking out of our spawn and doing my mini-Sandy Ravage impersonation in between B and their spawn. :cool:

Himself (who went 2-18 or similar in some of his games) and his friend were complaining after every game - remember them accusing all of us and especially me (top of the leaderboard so naturally I must have been sitting in a corner

) of camping on Karachi and then your man backed down - I'd been from C Dom to the Diner to A and down as far as the high building overlooking B Dom hauling around an RPD, not exactly bad going ffs.

Jesus H Christ I second that ! Just quit a game there the entire team was using nothing but tubes non stop, they sucked so died after they ran out...respawn... more tubes. Great fun. If you need a one hit kill gun to get a kill constantly then dont play a gun game ffs, go play mario galaxy or something along your skill level.

And just in another game now on rundown....11 tubes in the first 60 seconds!!!! wtf!
