I think this is a really good idea - maybe put it somewhere more serious too... Just in case...

Honestly though, early gift ideas are always good.

I'd want concert tickets for myself and whoever was buying them. It's especially easy if you're with O2 and keep getting updates for priority tickets. Mention various acts to the presentee in passing and see what their reaction is.

It's an extra cool gift 'cause Christmas will be over and you both still have the concert to look forward to.

It's what I'd want anyway!!

Cheers. I feel like such a traitor saying AH isn't the best place ever (which, of course, it is), but my friends and family keep getting me fantastic gifts and I really want to be the winner this year!!! :P

I think asking for what you want yourself is a way better question than "what do you think is the best gift". Your question makes a person think more specifically.
