That'd be a bit predictable I'd say.. and not very "Meadows-ish".

An amazing piece of modern drama, I know the last scene was disturbingly brutal and graphic. But it was true to life to such domestic incidents, and it came out of nowhere! Did not see it coming! Another great drama from Channel 4!

The genius of it all was the fact that the story was unravelling in a way that suggested that Lol may have been giving her Dad a raw deal. Then bang with that horrific ending. Excellent stuff.

saw it coming from the beginning, as soon as she came to the door, my flatmates' all looked at me as if to say "oh no, you were right, here it is"

    horrendous stuff

I feel sorry for Lol, her behaviour can't be completely blamed on her father, it predates his arrival, it probably is due to how Woody acted though, so it is understandable, plus she is dissatisfied with her ****ty flat and how her life appears to be taking shape

great stuff, really looking forward to the final episode

Rewatching that scene with Flip and the "scooter boys" facing up to Woody and the gang.. when Flip says about "cumming all over her (Gemma) feet and hair!", his mate beside him (forgot his name, the same guy as was in "The Wicker Chair" scene) can't keep a straight face at all! :D

    See 1.25 into this...

Finally something I'm hooked on since the departure of Lost. Anyone not watching this is missing out big time.

My girlfriend noticed this as well. Reversed it a couple of times to watch it. Classroom behaviour, really funny!

I'm enjoying this show a lot. I had another watch of the movie last night after seeing Combo return.

Paddy Considine is either a great actor or an absolute psychopath. It unhinges me a little when he's onscreen. He seems to play similar characters in conjunction with Shane Meadows and I'm starting to believe that he actual is this character. Must search Youtube to find an interview with him and convince myself that he's a normal bloke.

'Irreversible' came into my mind during the last screen with Considine. 'This is England' wasn't violent like Irreversible but it's influence on me was pretty much the same. Personally, it made me feel ill, disturbed and even depressed.

Looking forward to seeing a meeting with Combo and Considine. I was a little surprised that Considine didn't play the Combo role in the movie. I thought he would fit the character well. Might have been an too obvious choice for Meadows to give another role like this to Considine.

Meadows could make a good Street Fighter type beat 'em up game with all the characters from his movies and shows. Richard from 'Dead Man's Shoes' would without doubt be my first choice

"F*ck off with your ginger chips, Shaun!"
