    Just got a message from a mate, apparently he had a slammer a little while ago. Years of drugs abuse caught up with him. Great singer and great band.

    That's just loser-talk. Lots of bands managed to be world-beaters whilst doing loads of drugs too.

    I'm shocked at the amount of people who say this. Eh, no, Aslan are a shít band. They have one song that I can think of and the only other one I know is a cover of a Pink Floyd song. Both are horrendous car crashes of songs.
