ahhhhh, had 2 repeats, one passed fine, other just has 'I' beside for certified illness due to extenuating circumstances going on at the time. But it didn't even quote a result for that one, why not? Overall says deferred so I still don't know, any ideas or will I just have to wait till the appeals board meets?

**** knows, repeating the module next year on its own most likely.

Failed 1 out of 4 repeats. think I did worse than I did in that exam the first time around, I'm a retard.

It means you've failed but can defer it until the exam is next sat - so either January or May.

    Mine has no results only,

Please contact Student Awards in Registry

Anyone know what that means? Maybe the result for one of my modules is not in yet ?

Exact same as me. I got 35 per cent first, then 30 this time.

    **** IT.

Anyone know what this means when trying to register?

"Either you have not made an application as yet
    OR
The Registration Cycle relating to your application is not open
    OR
You have not been admitted for any qualification to date.
If you have made an application please utilise the Student Admission Status option on the Student Enquiry for more information."

Fantastic, loved one module so much, i'm going to do it again next year.

Is it the 20th than we can have a look at our paper and cry in front of your lecturer or is that consultation for something else?

So what do you do if you failed a repeat exam? Email the Lecturer? Ring up the Registry?

I've had that form filled out before I even sat the repeat.

Well this is going to be one interesting or very, very boring year.

    Passed!

How long do we have to register? I usually leave things until the last minute but that tactic has forsaken me lately.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 204 ✭✭RichieD

    Still dont have mine.

Called the registry and they said something about me not paying my repeat exam fees

Well you'll be happy to know, now is pretty last minute.
You have till the 17th, then the late fee comes in.

So basically, fill out that form, email it to the program head, when they reply go to the Finance Office with the form filled out + email and they will tell you how much you have to pay?

Then i come back and pay? or pay online? or pay on the spot? I don't know how much to pay! ahhh.

So i believe. I'll try find the page with the costs.
An email i got back from the Fee's office says we don't have to pay the registration fee, just the cost of the module and a levy, so repeating a 5 credit module is around 700. Actually, i'll just send you the email.

So I'm studying international science, I passed all my labs in 1st year and got my repeats results there, for physics theres 2 tests for the one module and I failed both, and I failed one of the two tests for biology, so I failed 1 module and half another one. I passed maths and chemistry, is there any way to get in to 2nd year.
